+x+xRamsey has 3 goals, 5 assists and 2 penalties won this season. Unreal. Bloody hell and all of your players you want scoring have scored today. Lacazette, Giroud, Sanchez and Ozil all on the score sheet, impressive performance. Unfortunately for us just as we start playing well Lacazette gets injured.

Should have scored 5. Can't even be mad. Not sure how we didn't get at least 2, maybe even 3 penalties, but oh well.

Yeah I mean we can be upset or frustrated with the early defensive mistakes, but with how we responded it's hard to be to angry. So many times we've seen us go behind early in a big game and just collapse, but I mean we fucking battered them. Against a normal human goalkeeper and with a little more luck decisions wise we win that match easily.
Now we just need to move onto Southampton and not let this derail the good form we've been in. Oh and we can sell Sanchez for $5 come January 1 for all I care, but do whatever we fucking need to do to keep Ozil.

Bloody DeGea, he's been our nemesis last 3 seasons or so - without him they are half as good.

Bring Debuchy in for Bellerin, give him some time to think about things and while he's at it take Sanchez and fuck him off somewhere. All the talk about how if only the effort was there from Ozil, well at the moment of the two big players off contract at the end of the season he's the only one playing like he actually gives a fuck.
How Sanchez has been able to avoid being one of the first subbed off is genuinely amazing to me. Also time Xhaka spends some time on the bench and Jack gets his chance.

Alexis has always been a player that has lost the ball a lot, no arguments there. Most of the time he makes up for it (and he even got the assist last night). But however when he's playing this poorly, it hurts the team so much. His penalty box involvements are down, he's turning the ball over more, he never releases quickly. It's never been a secret to anyone that he's never really clicked with the way we play, he's always on his own wavelength. That's fine when he's playing up to his own standard, but it becomes strikingly evident how out of sync he is when he's not playing well. I'll never question his commitment, but you have to start seriously think about dropping him when he's playing this poorly and is leaving in 6 months.

He's no actively hurting our attack almost every time he gets the balls. So many times last night we'd break, he'd get the ball on the left, dawdle across the edge of the box and lose the ball on the right. Don't even care that he provided the assist for the equaliser, he's doing more harm than good atm.

Like jlm said, he's always been a player who loses the ball a lot, but because he's not making up for it with goals and assists and hasn't all season tbh, he's actively hurting us atm. He may have got the assist for the equaliser on Sunday but I feel pretty confident saying we would have scored earlier had he been taken off.

And so our weird love affair with the League Cup continues. Into the semis again and no team has been knocked out at the semi final stage more than Arsenal. Then if we make the final no team has lost more League Cup finals than Arsenal. Wouldn't mind winning it, if only just for the fact it's the one domestic trophy Wenger doesn't have.

Likely to have to play Manchester City in the final and their 2nd 11 could spank any team in the competition haha.

I assume that was entertaining for the neutral. My god we are gash, though at least we did fight back. Thankfully we went to the tactic of 'give Mesut the ball' in the 2nd half.
Jack another big positive, Xhaka at this point should be on borrowed time but not confident that he is.

I will never understand the reasoning behind selling our best keeper, who is only 27, to Juventus whilst persisting with a declining Cech and the flappy Colombian.

And Alexis off to United as well. Hurts more than City because they really shouldn't be a step up from us, but our inability to address glaring issues for the past X seasons have allowed them to catch up and surpass us.
Could stomach seeing him in a City shirt, working with Pep, winning trophies. But United? Just a kick in the guts.
Some rumours of a player coming the other way, hope its Mikki.

It won't happen but if we could manage to get Mkhitaryan in exchange for Sanchez plus one of or somehow both of Malcolm or Aubameyang then the loss of Sanchez might hurt a little less. That being said I don't think it'll matter who we buy as long as Arsene is in charge.

Cech is and always has been world class. Cech can be world class, problem is he's turning 36 at the end of this season and those world class days are getting fewer and fewer. Szczesny is a baby in goalkeeping terms with years and years ahead of him. not to mention the fact he currently has 6 goals conceded in 10 Serie A games this season with 6 clean sheets. We are going to really really regret letting him go.

He doesn't offer enough point of difference, for me. Alexis, when he does want to play, does offer that point of difference. If we're buying one of those Mikki-level players I'd rather get something different tbh.

He'll take the creative responsibility off Ozil (if we can keep him) and allow us to play some actual good football. He's the type of player we've lacked since Nasri left. No coinciidence our best Wengerball football came with a world class playmaker (Fab) supported by players such as Hleb or Nasri. I just want us to play good football again.

I have no ill feeling towards Arsenal. They are a club with a proud history of great managers and developing great players, with silverware spanning decades. I have more respect for them than certain other teams who were nothing until oil billionaires decided buying a football team would be a nice hobby. I can empathise with how frustrating it must be to see Wenger allowed to continue unaccountable for the rubbish performances because of past glories... BUT- when Arsenal lose, it makes me smile because I know there's new entertainment on Arsenal Fan TV to catch up on during my post-morning coffee shit. I reckon Robbie smiles on the inside too after performances like this mornings' as he thinks of the great content he's going to get as a result.
There are only two intellectually honest debate tactics: (a) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s facts, or (b) pointing out errors or omissions in your opponent’s logic. All other debate tactics are intellectually dishonest - John T. Reed

I can't believe how pathetic Arsenal have become since we moved from Highbury to Emirates. I thought selling our best players was something that was expected in the first 5 or so seasons, to help pay the big loan off for Emirates Stadium. I never expected us to sell them to direct rivals ffs, and now with the club being in the best financial position compared to many clubs around the world, we still find ourselfs doing our best to improve our rivals by selling our biggest players to them. I don't even understand how the local fans put up with this shit, I'm so turned off Arsenal and what it's become. Our rivals never sell their best players to us, even if they want to leave they let them go overseas for a lesser amount in transfer fees which is exactly what we should be doing. Enough is enough, I'm embarrassed to be an Arsenal fan, and I must admit it's good I've lost my love for this shit club, as I no longer have the pain that used to come with losing a game, or even worse my favourite player to a rival club I grew up to hate with passion. Arsenal Football Club has become Arsenal Bussiness Club and I don't even understand why people bother going, or even giving a fuck about a disgusting club that doesn't give a shit about it's own fans one bit. I'll always be an Arsenal fan, there's no chance of switching to anyone else, but like I said earlier I've lost my love for them and couldn't care less what happens to them with Kronke there and the disrespectful board that runs the club. I just wish every seasoned ticket member boycotted the games until Kronke either sells out or starts to take things more seriously. Arsenal doesn't deserve to have anyone watching them, and honestly not so much because of their position on the ladder but more importantly because we're the only big rich club that continually sells our stars to rival clubs knowing the fans will cop so much shit because of it, and at the same time strengthening the rival.
