SO Australia's plethora of LB's (Behich, Smith, Gersbach, Meredith, Elder, Goodwin, Davidson, Zullo) and our apparent lack of quality LW's got me thinking - why dont we play behich there? He already links up brilliantly with Mooy in the advanced positions. Could play Smith our gersbach at LB instead. Leckie RB and Kruse RW. Behich has scored several goals from his LB position at Bursaspor and has terrific technical ability.
Thoughts?

Once Smith finally gets regular football and form we can start talking about him. From memory he has an alright shot. His crossing is good.
How is Behich as a finisher? This is definitely an idea worth considering and Behich has occasionally played wing at club level. He'd other feel out of place having been far up as a wing back for Ange.

+xSO Australia's plethora of LB's (Behich, Smith, Gersbach, Meredith, Elder, Goodwin, Davidson, Zullo) Thoughts? plethora? I disagree. 1 of those (behich) has proved himself to be ok at a decent level.

Defensively good, could be an option in tougher games where we are pinned back.

I applaud the thinking outside the box. But as left-back has been such a problem for Australia and Behich is doing well there, I think just leave him there.
As for Elder... it would be interesting to know if he is versatile enough to go at right back. If we play a flat-ish back four (as we shall need to do if we're playing 4-2-3-1), then his inclusion may bolster our defence considerably.

Or we can just play Leckie at LW and move one of our many LB's to the right. Someone like Meredith seeing as going forward isn't their strength we may aswell stick them at right back and adjust the team accordingly.

No, he should only go as a left back. Not as LW, and not as RB. Surprised how many calls you get for players in untried positions. Not only is it a gamble ahead of a bunch of in-form wingers, but it also weakens the left back spot. Leckie ditto for RB
well it will be 4 at the back under Bert, so if you mean as actual full-back thats suicidal.
