+x+x+x+x@jas 88. I think you’ll find that the reason Ryan wasn’t getting game time at Valencia before the Confeds Cup was because he was at Genk .... So Belgium > Winning Eredivise team then yeah? Maybe not, but facts > hyperbole. what fact is that? I guess you can say you were right that Ryan could barely get a game at Valencia before the confeds cup if you ignore the fact he had been on loan and playing regularly for another team for 6 months leading in. I think you could mount a case that giving Jones a swansong at the confeds cup as opposed to using as a warm up for the WC would have looked more like an experiment for Ange than playing Ryan. I'm no big fan of Ange these days and if anything it was the 2014 WC he experimented with a young keeper and cost us points not the confeds cup in 2017.
