30pts off 1st, 10 and 8pts off of 4th and 5th, probably be more after we lose against Brighton this weekend. Probably get ruined by Milan too. Good times ahead.
Also not sure what the deal is with no subs at all in this match against City. We play today and then again Sunday before playing Milan next Thursday.

A half empty stadium against a big rival. Your players need support now more than ever. This wasn't a 4th round cup tie it was a fucking league game. Embarrassing. Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan don't look to be the saviors you thought they were going to be. What does Xhaka have to do to get dropped?

I agree its freezing over there atm, further north other games have been cancelled and understandably so but a half empty emirates is first in a loooong time. Thats huge. I still say no matter the Arsene issues on paper this squad surely can do better than what they deliver on the pitch.

No one at the club cares about what's happening to it so why should the fans. I don't think anyone thought Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan were going to be saviors this season. No one has any chance to be a savior until there is a new manager in charge

A few empty seats sure, but a half full stadium (at best) looks terrible, particularly for a big club. Surely Wenger cannot save himself this season.

4 straight defeats, first time it's happened since 2002. 13 points off 4th, closer to Burnley, Leicester and Watford than 4th. You have less away wins than Watford and Burnley of all teams.
It's almost beyond amusing now and it's entirely the fault of your players who show up when they want to. I mean where the fuck has match-winner Ozil gone? Mhikitaryan (spelling?) has offered fuck all. He seems to be a fair-weather player. Mustafi is a peanut. Xhaka isn't good enough for your reserves. Jack Wheelchair surely needs to move on and the rest of the players hardly warrant a mention.
I'd watch Arsenal TV but it's like watching a funeral now and I can't stand those illiterate fucks who say blud and fam every 2nd word.

yes its all Arsene's fault lol...... OK he has been there too long But that doesn't mean he can't manage anymore. These players the last few years have not been doing what they are overpaid to do, no wonder Sanchez had enough and his pitch mannerisms of frustration proves it now even more.

I'm at the stage where I just don't know if its worth ruining my day by staying up late/getting up early just to watch limp performance after limp performance.
I just don't see how he can continue. A loss against Milan and he should go. Any respectable club would have sacked him based on the results already this season.

Arsenal or not, I find it hard to blame managers all the time when there are 11 players + subs who can't motivate themselves to play. The manager can't stop a regulation save sneaking under a goalkeeper.

These same problems have happened with completely different squad with completely different players. If this was the first time this was happening I would say maybe it isn't all his fault. When this has been happening for almost 15 years though. When a manager has completely different squads who are unable to motivate themselves to play maybe it isn't all the players fault.

One thing is for sure that will happen. A change is as good as a holiday but this imo always camouflages whats really occurred. Wenger will be gone purely because the board will be in a corner, not because he's turned into a shit manager the last years but he''s dying by his sword having been loyal to his employers first by not over spending and to players he's backed up. (some injuries have contributed, welbz as called, the gooner Studz I'm afraid, ship him out for eg) Then he's bought what he's been able to do within his budgets. Some good signings some not so good but what manager hasn't done as this from year to year. I've said it before, your squad on paper compared to any of the teams below you right now is better than the rest of them. Even us neutrals see it but he cops the blame incl from you guys. You should be ripping into the soft cocks your watching week to week. I recall seeing the countless selfies of themselves over the recent years admiring their cool cuts like wtf. Ozil for starters and your happy he re signed, you bet he would playing @ 50% he's loling every week. Xhakafuka - BS. Wrights article the other day says what we see : "The manager has had a lot of faith in a lot players and many of them have let him down and will continue to let him down, and that'll be his demise unfortunately. Not him, it's the players. "They have taken his kindness and that management style as weakness, so in the end now there's no accountability, no consequence to playing badly or putting in abject performances. "I know the players are good enough, but they need to show some heart, grit, drive, determination for a manager who has showed a lot of faith in them and they've let him down on numerous occasions." The previous squads even if it was him made the 4.

Previous squads made the top 4 consistently because the teams behind them were crap. The rest of the league has caught up to us now while the teams ahead of us have moved forward and we've been stuck because we have a manager who for whatever reason cannot motivate players anymore.
You know what, fuck it. Lets give him a life contract since none of it is his fault and it's everyone elses fault and all the transfer failures have been just bad luck. All those players who got worse under Wenger and then improved after they left, all just bad luck.

Does make sense that opposition fans would want to blame the players and not the manager, why wouldn't you want Wenger to stay. He stays and you're guaranteed to finish ahead of us.

hehe, I get your vent but still. Its the same top 6 in years and years. We were crap/how many failed tranfers and Spudz hot cold. We and your Spuz have taken your ol ground. Players leaving and improving elsewhere has gone on for an eternity. He's a good manager :)

Look at Moyes at United. He was lost at sea with that Club. The talk is of Henry managing but what has he got as far as credentials? Theres being a club legend and then theres actually being able to tactically compete with someone like Guardiola. Maybe time has caught up with Wenger who used to be able to pluck obscure players and make them fit around superstars. I don't know how Arsenal fixes this problem but if they do sack Wenger it may get worse before it gets better.

We're going through the Moyes period without actually hiring a bad manager, just re-signing one. I'd take our chances on someone different.

I would happily get rid of Wenger now and bring in someone like Henry or Arteta for the rest of the season as an audition. They can't be any worse so why the fuck not.

yer sure why not. So it will just highlight the players arrogance right now not respecting wenger and assistants but say henry or whoever takes charge and the players lift on the park from the get go - pathetic right. What were saying and seeing on the park is just as what many past players are seeing on game day. A good review on the Roar - Arsenals damaging culture of complacency. He does quote wenger needs to go now but its the big picture incl board and current players. Bellerin, 2yrs ago touted as one of the top up and comers, can't even cross a ball well atm for eg. wengers fault. Brighton game, possession was 69% great middle zone play but where it matters at either box end is the errors and lack of finish. Last line is trouble and stupid errors and since RVP left throw in Sanchez no one finishs off but wenger just spent 100m on 2 class strikers then Mkhitaryan have done blank pretty much. I think it near on mirrors what we at pool have gone through for years.

And how did Liverpool fix things? Oh that's right, by going out and getting the right manager that could turn things around and not sticking with the same crap that hasn't worked for years.

Hey were not fixed yet. BR didn't do too bad - we challenged and nearly got there but we lacked a backline. Sure some over priced dud buys but he was on a course but we never had the luxury of being in CL as you guys have and thats partly thanks to wenger. He's being too soft on your playing group but its obvious no one wants him anymore but I would take the vent out more on your players.

Taking it out on the players is what we used to do. We got new players and lo and behold the same problems are there. Surprise surprise the one constant in that time has been Wenger.
No doubt Wenger did a great job in keeping us in the CL for so long, but that time is over. We will not make the CL again as long as he is here.

And so the rotation starts. Chambers, Koscielny, Wilshere and Ramsey all rested. Nelson and Willock join Nketiah on the bench.

That's much better. Looked liked the team played like well a team, stood up with some physicality of our own. Xhaka seemed like he worked on his defensive skills and backtracked . When mikki and auba click 😁😁😁😁
