Was expecting the Jets to be higher but I guess they are just catching up from previous years?

Exactly, a number of poor seasons had them ranked low at the start of 2017/18.

This is getting a little embarrassing for the Mariners and Phoenix

With only one game left in their season, the Mariners will be sitting quite low in the rankings for a while too. Probably until the FFA Cup comes around again.

And they will lose in Round 1of the FFA Cup again unless they spend their banked salary cap.

The top 4 ranked NSW clubs remaining in the FFA Cup have been drawn against each other in the final round of qualifying:

- Sydney Olympic vs APIA Leichhardt
- Rockdale City Suns vs Blacktown City

c'mon Blacktown, lets be the only federation club to have qualified for all the FFA Cups 
if we where in an open meritocratic pyramid  we would be KANGS AND SHEET 

Far North QLD Heat have also qualified every year so far, and under their new name (Cairns FC) are only one win away from making it five from five.

Sydney United 58 were the other club to have qualified every time but were knocked out by Rockdale this year.
