why I'm asking...... You tell me when SO at the top of the ladder with just 9 GA after 12 games ship 3 on the 1 night ?! Not even a goal a game. Mind you APIA's GF is 8 above SO but that SO defense has been sensational to date. Just for the record quoting real game was probably not fair but I expect the PL comp is first objective - Cup is great no doubt about it just depends what situation your at at the time - injuries etcetc......

+x+x+x+x+xLowy's Hakoah gets an 'easy' draw. Interesting. two absolute crackers in there: rockdale v blacktown Olympic v apia bonno and Marconi should progress hakoah very very lucky indeed. you reckon lucky ?? as quoted not unexpected. yer the main 4 clubs top games depending how they line up on the night how many 1st players. I reckon BWE will have a challenge against the Brumbies, they'll go for it its a blue ribbon game for the club. massive win last night by rockdale over blacktown. to come from 2-1 down and to win 3-2 showed great character. cracking game. chances at both ends. so weve got from nsw apia hakoah Marconi bonno rockdale Yes a shame tFl re the PL2 sides. Sounds like Covic played a top game when needed. Top win regardless vsing BC. Sounds like Hills gave BWE a fright and Spirit made Marconi work hard. APIA better be ready for the real game the weekend I expect. didn't win cause of covic brilliance, not that he had a bad game either.

Well APIA did beat Olympic 2-0 in round 1. As for last night, 2 goals came in the last 15 when Olympic went for it and the game opened up. The FFA Cup is very important to most clubs. 25K first prize for winning the title pales in comparsion to what an NPL club could earn in the FFA cup by way of gate takings, sponsorship and exposure. Just ask Sydney United and Blacktown who have made fortunes over the last years!

you seem to react like rale of old :) The result was still surprising no matter what rd1 was. I'm just saying as I see it mate, and ofcourse we know the revenue that comes with the Cup especially these next rounds but I think your mis understanding how I interpret things, its ok mate no worries.

I remember we made over $200k when we played sydney FC in 2014 (over 8k in attendance) For clubs at NPL level, that is massive money.

Gold Coast Knights qualified, now we just need Canberra Croatia (Deakin) to qualify and that will be a hat-trick of Croatian Backed clubs that have qualified

How many can the Ilinden centre fit? Will be great having it there and Sydney Fc will hate playing on the synthetic, I think you guys have a decent chance of a result.

Me, Mrs Me & the kids got our tix early. Rockdale in season, Sydney in pre season, going to be a very interesting encounter.
Rockdale should invite some Fed/State MP's to the match, get them to pay for some more improvements. ;)
