Would prefer Irvine for Rogic. I get that Rogic has attacking qualities but he's not using them right now and Irvine definitely has goals in him running late into the box and on set pieces. Rogic isn't doing much playmaking either.


Irvine is simply more useful.

Bert definitely needs to warn against complacency. The French will get a rocket up them at half time as that was a fairly anaemic performance. Honestly think they'd be better off with Giroud.

Great effort all round. France are quality and had some quality chances but our defense has just been there. Sainsbury a gun and Risdon even has been great. The issue is if we'll be able to maintain this discipline. Need to transition out better and make every forward pass count. Rogic has had some poor first touches or maybe he is just so tightly marked? 

If things don't change he'll definitely be on around 60. If not that criticism of Deschamps will be justified. They're trying to get in behind a team that is sitting deep and has a sweeper keeper.

Just putting this out there. BVM is the master coach. He is the greatest coach we have had. He has utterly outcoached France. He has them believing they are playing the game on their terms, all the time not realising they're in a trap. We will win this. France thinks they will pinch a goal in a moment of quality. It's not happening. The backs are too switched on, monstering Greizman with 2 players at the fall of the ball. He is getting so frustrated, like the rest of the French. Did anyone see when Greizman lost it and absolutely smashed one of our boys off the ball? We are camping in their heads and it is fucking great.

The advantage of Rogic is supposed to be his ability to beat tight marking but he hasn't shown it for a long time. He might be a better player but Irvine is simply more useful.
