Italy in 2006 and Spain in 2010 were more unlikeable winners in my opinion.

What isn't in question though is France deserved to win the tournament. They just have too much quality in that side.

I've met some French who were extremely likeable but they'd felt out of place in France and had adapted something similar to Australian culture. The real real French are painful as hell. My German bird hates it too but some Germans can be so bloody hard to be in company of.

Italy in 2006 were the most despicable IMO, Grosso and Materazzi are a million times worse than any of these French players. For Italy to win (and that f*ckwit Grosso to score the winning penalty to top it off) totally ruined that tournament for me.
Spain in 2010 were pretty bad too. Grade A c*nts like Sergio Ramos, extremely boring style of play, unconvincing performances, and a sludgefest of a final. They shat the bed in their opener against Switzerland, scraped through with lazy 1-0 wins despite being immensely talented, got out of jail against Paraguay, and ultimately won the tournament with only 8 goals in 7 games. Most uninspiring team to ever win the world cup IMO.

There's two differences that have made what we see here on our shores work much better:

1) We are an island nation, which makes illegal immigration much more difficult
2) We haven't opened our borders en masse and allowed "14 year old" males in who look suspiciously closer to 20 because "compassion"

There's how we've done diversity (by and large) then there's the dangerously irresponsible approach that countries like France and Sweden have displayed.
