The reason for the delay is because FNSW made the announcement during the season. None of the clubs can complain if it gets announced late this year so clubs have a full season to get their crap together.

+x+x+xIt's why club championship needs to be scrapped ASAP, and only be the last placed side in first grade. Agreed.. FNSW's plan was perfect club championship scrapped & 1.5 up/down.. nahhh scrapped a few weeks later bcos dud clubs complain Wasn't the reason for the delay the delay on rebooting the boys youth because the 18s have to be moved from the senior system to the youth system? Looks like the youth system delay has had the effect. Yes, also some clubs like Hills chucked a tantrum because their youth aren't very good this year so they'd go from Div 1 in youth to Div 3

The clubs will have to accept that they might end up anywhere from NPL Youth 1 to NPL Youth 4. The bigger problem is the regrading of the u18s.

Some duds thrive off the fact that they can call themselves "Tier 1 youth" & charge the $2400, believe me the youth divisions had just as much of an impact

Sutho, were you at Lambert Park this arvo ? We got there 5mins into the game. Was a good 1st half, end to end stuff and some good football by both sides. Some good open attractive football, we really enjoyed the quality of the game. My 18yr old even said it was better than some SFC games. APIA took advantage of some defensive errors they have some pace, Sekiya is hard to handle. Some quality build up play for the goals. The blonde haired CAM ? is a lively mobile ball player. The end result didn't reflect their standing on the table.

If there's ever a case of scrapping the CC.. Bonnyrigg are two points off the finals yet have a very real chance of getting relegated

Some clubs take youth seriously and others don't. Clubs that don't take youth seriously should not be allowed to be in the top tier charging kids $2400 just because of the name of the club. Let them eventually get relegated.

I always find it funny how FNSW say you can't put kids in pressure situations hence no pro/rel in youth.. but lump 16 & 17 yr olds playing 18's into keeping a club up lmao

@LFC, no wasn’t at the game. Good to hear we played well but the result doesn’t boost my confidence of making the semis (as slight as they are). Blond haired midfielder would be Olsen who only came back last week after a 10-12 week injury, we have missed him a lot and he was fantastic against Bonnyrigg last week.

The difference was finish. Olsen thats him, good player and having him out that long would hurt. As Kolner and all of us can see, the comp is so competitive this season Sutho is in the mix for play offs, 2 wins from 5th. Look at Marconi and better still Suns, if I recall right both were near the bottom a month of so back.

+x@LFC I'll be at the last GRM match of the season, A.K.A Fraser relegation party Alright mate....... If things don't change in the near future for Fraser long before our meeting I'm afraid the worst will happen. For better return of CC points their 1sts are struggling and the 20's arn't picking up any better. A shame really for I have a soft spot for the club having been around it incl events for on 26yrs being the wife is Portugese and grown up locally. GRM have a huge one at home this weekend top of the tables clash. Hosting St George City FA. SG 1st's are on top, good defense gonna be hard but it will be a fight boys are just the win behind. Our 20's on top 5 ahead. Our 18's in 2nd 1point above them. 9 games left before play offs.

Is the Sydney United v Bonnyrigg White Eagles game still closed off to the general public and only open to members? If so have there been any rumours as to when it'll be back to normal where anyone can simply buy a ticket and show up? Such a waste to have this game pretty much played behind closed doors.

Football NSW set a number of rules criteria for this match, so if the game was open to the public it was cost the club ten's of thousands of dollars, so thats why its behind closed doors. Game is on saturday 2pm, members and season ticket holders only.

Football NSW doesnt want to fork out any costs, i.e - security, police etc. All the onus is on the host club, and that is very costly, so behind closed doors is better financially for the clubs.

Yeah but they're happy to milk 80-100 grand from elite NPL clubs though. Having to take details of every single attendee would be a pain in the arse from an administrative perspective though.

It's open doors their just not advertising it to keep it quiet
