+x+xWell, Jenen had a tuff start I guess and Fraser down all 3grades. Went to see APIA United game. Couldn't believe the score by HT. United worked their butts off the 2nd and had much more ball but couldn't finish off enough, Sim was in good position many times to release the ball earlier but either held it too long or wrong option. there was a decision that impacted the match when it was 2-0 for APIA, the referee awarded the goal for United for it only to be overruled by the linesman, suggesting that a United player hand balled in the process of scoring. Well after reviewing the photos from FNSW FB page, it was actually an APIA player who handled in the box. The refereeing standards in the competition are piss poor. i am not saying it would of changed the final outcome, but a big point in the match. yes mate and others, sorry I neglected mentioning that and IT was a critical decision at the time, 2-1 would have been a different outcome maybe. So much traffic hard to call what actually occurred for I couldn't pick it when happened but it was obvious the SU players knew. APIA were on song when attacking mind you. Sekiya is a handful, last game we watched similar form, damaging. So Jordan to Mariners eh, wish him well. Has Sekiya played AL before ?

Interesting that this link/article is not available from 5days ago. Read More Maybe it has more to do with the wheeling and dealing between managers and coaches. An NPL player won't attract the type of money an A League player will and as such the whack won't be as substantial to the Whackee, and if you don't think these two things exist then you are wacky. Take for instance The Mariners, they see off Baro and Brama, why you may ask, because that cake had been eaten already, then they sign 3 Wanderers that can't fire to add to Melling who can't fire, and consider that will improve a side that ran last. The merry go round just keeps going around because some one is getting a whack. I wonder who?

1-0 over manly, it was a game that could of been 5-4 with how many chances both sides missed. Top 3 is now secured so we will either play APIA or Olympic with a second chance. 5th spot is really interesting now that Rockdale lost

Bonny pretty much on relagation now. 3red cards 2nd half APIA walked in late in the game. The Hakoah win stirs up RCS run. SFC over BC ! Marconi have done well 1st season back. In PL3 land, Magic 2nd in CC just 2points behind StGeorge with 4rounds to go. Routed Mariners 18 - 4 combined the 3grades yesterday. Fraser struggling, 1st's drew importantly but 20'/18's lost, bottom of CC at present.

MB, thanks mate very much re the link, yes it worked got the full article. He's so right but we all know this. All of us involved in PL1 to 3 see potentials week in week out. Jordan is made of the right stuff, you got to keep plugging away no matter the negative feelings, I wish the kid well and that goes for all in similar circumstances. We so need all our Leagues aligned better and more TD's/Coachs supported better from the Top.

Some of those APIA goals look suspect. I wonder how much cash Raciti gave George to throw the match?

Looks like Murray has gone for the rest of the season, what a shit situation for APIA, surely A-League clubs should have to let players stay til the end of the season, or maybe the NPL needs to start a month earlier? Either way, Rockdale, United, APIA, Wollongong and Sutherland (that I know of) have lost players to Europe or A-league in the remaining 5 rounds of the competition.

Yep we signed Palapanis, he’s done well at St George so looking forward to him hopefully bringing back some respectability to the club. Our 20’s coach no doubt will be gutted not to get the job, but personally I’m not sure he is ready, a couple more years and I’d be happy to give him a go if he can bring another group of players through.
Nikas shops himself around every year doesn’t he? I also heard Stava going to player/coach at Bankstown City.

Nah he's gone to the Mariners, although they scored a few goals last week you'd still think that he'll be a significant loss. APIA must be desperate I'd imagine to win the Minor Premiership & the Grand Final after fizzing out against Manly last season.

Bad timing for APIA losing Jordan being they play Victory in the FFACup soon. Yer, more pressure now for APIA in the PL to finish off better than last.
