Labu definitely one of the positives this tour, still not sure if his batting is good enough yet to be a legitimate option in that regard. Might need to take the Smith route and focus on his batting a lot more to take the next step.

Siddle's lack of matches in Asia has always bothered me, in his very few tests away he has been very decent. Prior to this tour he was the pick of our pace bowlers in 3 of his 6 Asian tests.

He's looked great this test, but his first class average leaves a lot to be desired to be a really good option.

It does. Imagine the confidence he will now have going forward.

He has got a start in most of his innings.. more than we can say for some of our more established boys. What do you like to be called mate?
