Congrats MvFC.
Best - Got that class changed Best - Teacher confirmed, he told us Friday, and we confirmed that there was nothing in any guide about handing assignments in on the day of the class. Bitches haven't got a leg to stand on. Worst - New class time is better, but only just...at least I can get home now...

So what happens? Are all assignments now due on a day stipulated by the teacher?

His college is stupid. They confuse their students by numbering the weeks relative to when each individual course starts rather from when the school term starts. So week 3 in one course may be week 5 in another. #-o

Worst: I just had an agonising phone conversation with an Architect(if it wasnt bad enough)...with a stutter. A 10min conversation eventually turned into a 30min conversation. :x

They did START at the same time...but because of Labour day, they write off that week for whatever classes fall on that day and pick it up the next week, which fucks everything up  Stupid fuckers. They did the same with easter  So some classes are two weeks behind others. Best: Recording in studio tonight. Best: Don't ask how, don't ask where, but I could swear to Odin that I stumbled across a porn clip of my ex last night. Fucking hilarious. I really want to know if it's her now "for teh lulz". Worst: Fucking commute to school is boring as batshit.

worst: I forgot to do my morning shit; now I have to hold it or face a public toilet :x
best: It's Wednesday - the middle of the week, you don't loath it because it's not Monday and you don't love it because it's not Friday...:-k What's good about that??? :?

afromanGT wrote:So what happens? Are all assignments now due on a day stipulated by the teacher? Well NOW, it's apparently on the day of the class. Which is new to all of our teachers too, which says a lot.

Have to do pointless stuff which only tests whether you can actually do it or not.

Best: Did a physics assessment today, and went really well. Best: Got an extension on an assignment that no-one had any clue about, because we hadn't had any lectures on it. Go figure. Best: Got a higher score on my last physics quiz than when it was initially marked as the markers gave me so many ticks and gave me less marks than ticks.
Worst: Got a maths assessment tomorrow. Its on 3 weeks worth of work.

Everybody is correct - when you leave school and go to uni for instants, it's shit-loads harder...so if you cant cope now, you will not cope at uni. My advice to you (if this is the case) is pull out of school regardless if you are in yr 10, 11, 12...find an apprenticeship in the following trades - carpenter, plumber, electrician...you'll get paid a hack wage for the first 4 years but once your qualified you'll be better off then most of your mates that are still in uni - if your clever enough to go into business for yourself. Why work for the man when you can be the man?
