shock result last night with sydney olympic losing to sydney fc npl 2-3

Sydney aren’t a bad side to be fair, in saying that Olympic don’t seem to be the team they were last year considering their side hasn’t changed too much and should have done better last night.

30 shots to 4
20 corners to 1
13 on target shots to 3

lose the game 3-2

go figure?

to say Olympic were unlucky is an understatement.

anyway, tough draw for us against sutho. they were up for it. we looked a bit flat. romero was outstanding. still, played bad and got a draw.
18's and 20's both won which was good for CC.

United this Sunday at home. always big games.

Rested some players against manly, and we got what we fully deserved

Looks like we got Blacktown on our minds for our FFA cup game on Wednesday.

We played well and I thought we deserved the win, another mistake from Ercan at the back costs us again, we desperately need to sign a centre back in the transfer window.

Kolner, any reason Panni isn’t starting, injured? He looks pretty average when he came on.

Pani was being eased back in. in saying that, he got crunched at the end of the game so see how he pulls up.
I hear the reinforcements are on their way for you guys. a centre back, a returning midfielder, and a former Sydney fc youth product.
wait and see.

I only heard these last night at our FFA cup game, Olsen who I assume is the returning midfielder is back in the country but apparently unsure of his future, hopefully someone can talk him into signing for us. Unsure who the centre back player you’re referring to but the Sydney FC youth player is also a centre back. We are desperately needing to sign someone there, it’s our week point.

Big win for us 3-0 over Olympic at home, finally get our first home win of the season, deserved win with some great finishing. More importantly get some breathing space on the club championship and keep our little hope of finals alive.

Stava signed for APIA

Hearing Mirjan Pavlovic got the sack at marconi, he could be going to Mt.Druitt or Bankstown for big coin.

im hearing marconi is making way for Alex Brosque

2-2 away to APIA, we were lucky to come away with a point however not a bad result away from home against second place, that’s 7 games without defeat, still a way off a finals spot but still an outside chance with our team playing some good football.

Hakoah are really struggling in the Club Championship and look odds on to go down, Olympic find themselves second last on the table but with a considerable gap building it seems too much for Hakoah.

Wanderers are leading npl2 club championship however from memory I think they tend to fade towards the end of the season. North shore, spirit and Mounties all within a shot of promotion, with all of Mounties new signings I wouldn’t be surprised seeing them pull off promotion.

I think too much focus was put on Gauthier with not enough support for him.  Is the Transfer window closed? I'd like to see them get their former player Jordi Swibel again, I think he'd be a good player to help alleviate the pressure on Gauthier.

Qualified for the FFA CUP, and beat the wollongong wolves 2-1 on the weekend, good week for us, after losing 4-2 to blacktown last week.

Round 14 and its still hard to call, APIA and Blacktown Drawing, Rockdale and Marconi finding form, the top 5 finish will go right down to the last match day.

Considering where Hakoah is in the CC in all grades I was surprised a U20 defender of ours who is sound but nothing that I would call PL1 stds from PL3 got a transfer to them, boggling.
Wheels fallen off SO, worst position to date in years from my recollection.
Wolves 1st's doing well but man those 18's of theirs are not much incl SO's.
PL2 Berries and SGFC bottom of CC, I think bottom 2 get relegated for next season.
Lets see what occurs.
Spirit have really improved overall, 20's supporting 1st's regards points well.
If Mariners 20's can get more wins their 1st's doing well.
I'd sooner see Mariners/Spirit/Mounties gain promotion.
PL3 is so competitive as well and where I'm close.
I think its bottom 5 in CC end of season are relegated to make the new PL4.
Currently thats Hawks,Camden,Parra !,Rage,Western Mariners.
Mariners likely to finish bottom, wonder what FNSW will do there.
Top 3 currently is Bankstown City, SDRaiders and Magic with Dunbar not too far back as well.
21 CC points separate 1 to 3, this will go down to the wire imo but long way to go and anything can happen as we all know in all levels.

Hakoah look gone without a doubt now.

They look competitive in games but play so negatively, with only Gauthier up top. I watched Rockdale on the weekend and Hakoah had a new tall striker, but he was an absolute lump and did nothing. Not sure if he was a replacement from the 20's, as they had the whole bench full of 20's players. Must have a lot of injuries as only had 1 fresh sub.

Mounties have been disappointing havent they, considering their spend/signings/coach.  Would love to see them come back strong and be promoted. I dont like seeing the a leauge youth teams in the NPl top flight.

signing bojic was for me not a wise idea. hasn't played in how long now? lasted 20 minutes on the weekend. but when youre down I get it, you need to try and bring in players.
Jordi swibel will not help them. up hill battle to avoid the drop.
berries gone already in npl 2.  a couple of others on life support.
wanderers looking good to go up.
in npl 3, Bankstown look solid for a move back up to npl2.

Marconi rack up another win.   Mitch Mallia would be worth a look as an A League squaddie. Been consistent the past couple of seasons.  If he wants to play professionally that is as I know alot of players don't.
