+xStoked for Terry, but will defend the fact that it’s 5 months too late til my grave. Lawrence is an odd one- his form has been below his normal standard recently but still very happy for him to get a foot in the setup. I hope Deng plays centrally. Given there is only 1 specialist RB and 5 other CBs I suspect Deng has been selected with an eye to being back up right back although there are others who could play RB if needed.

Brillante again!!! How does this bloke keep getting picked based on his form in the last couple of seasons? A few seasons ago his form may have warranted selection, but not now. I would much rather have seen Aiden O'Neill in the squad.

Why do I get the feeling these guys will give it a real go and not trudge around like the entitled others do? Many of the bigger names have become quite complacent.
It's fantastic to see Spiranovic there and he should start with Wright. I'd like to see O'Neill, Antonis and Goodwin start. Ikon is decent for impact.

But fans of teams he used to coach will constantly bring it up to distract from his failings at National Team level. Pala and Iknowbest have on multiple occasions and Pala has even tried to claim that Timeotheo was let go by Sydney because Arnie held a grudge against him. Giving Iknowbest's comments any weight is like listening to Moufloroornnge in ET. Again, (and happy to be corrected if I'm wrong) Pala has never stated that Arnold has a bias against Melbourne Victory. Pointing out his potential relationships with former players is not the same as saying that Arnold is biased against a whole club. It is not just Melbourne Victory fans who think Antonis was slighted for something that has happened in the past (I've heard rumours from Sydney fans that they didn't get along all too well back in the day), and there was legitimately no good reason that a player in his form wasn't even in the best 50 (FIFTY) players at the time of the Asian Cup. Really amazed to see all these names on paper together. Glad we're doing it. Should have tried it in the March window. It'll add depth and expose many to the set up.
I still think Amini and Jeggo won't get much time. Always just squad members. Hopefully Antonis and O'Neill get a go. Aiden O'Neill will come at some point.
Is McGree injured? Actually annoyed we don't have a second game in China or something.

Lack of Attacking midfielders in this squad.
No Rogic(Rest), No Irvine(Rest)
Ikonomidis and Petratos the only real 2 and both play more on the wing.
thats why I'm surprised a mcgree or even a hrustic wasn't chosen.

No, I didn’t rate him that highly when he was playing for Newcastle.
