+x+xChristian Aloisi, the son of Ross has joined Adelaide’s youth team. Jai Ingam to Brisbane roar I find this very hard to believe. Not only did he just sign for CCM but the rumour hasn’t been reported by any reliable sources and I don’t think he’ll suit Roat’s system anyway.

+xNow that is interesting... Schalke are loaning Rudy to Hoffenheim. Rudy has never settled there since moving from Bayern. That leaves Mascarell (robust, handy type), Serdar (young gun and ready to break out this season), McKennie (US young gun who can play across the park) and Bentaleb (experienced but has discipline issues). I expect at least a rumour linking Mooy to Schalke now. I don't see Mascarell as a 34 game starter. Serdar and McKennie only would be extremely risky for the campaign. they've gone from 2nd to risking relegation in a season. i wonder how much cash they are willing so spend to get back there. would mooy's price tag be too much? 17 millions euros isn't that much for a club that should be fighting for a champions league spot. you watch the german game closely. has it been quiet with transfers? do you think that clubs might be waiting for the english window to close so prices steady out a bit? their window extends a few weeks longer right?

Lustica signed with Qizilqum in Uzbekistan
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xJust looking at Everton's midfield. Schneiderlin. Experienced but a bit rough these days. Davies. Good kid getting better all the time. Andre Gomes. The big signing. I feel he's overrated. Having Barcelona in the CV boosts his value immensely. McCarthy. Pretty one dimensional with experience at the level. Delph. New arrival and he's essentially in the spot Mooy may have taken. He can play left back too. Sigurdsson is of course them gem and owns the attacking midfield position. If Mooy went there I think it'd be quite tough to get game time. His style and distribution would be the thing getting him ahead to partner Gomes. it would be a great side for him if he played. it looks like everton either just splashed some serious cash on midfield or are about to. maybe he was a back up plan. i think the biggest hold up is that clubs are playing chicken. holding out thinking hudders will cave at the last minute. but it sounds like they dont mind holding on to him while they are looking for a return straight back into the PL. recent history says that's unlikely.

+xHonestly... someone in the premier league must want him??? If he was Spanish he would have been snapped up long ago! He would be amazing in a good side.. with speedy wingers to distribute the ball. how can no one pick him up??? It’s outrages!!! im actually pissed off! I think only about 5% of people who watch football don't rate him. He gets all the praise every time Huddersfield play. I think the market is just full of a lot of other solid options and perhaps his agent isn't working too hard for a deal despite the tidy commission they'd get.

Squaddie in the PL for me. He’s already 28 so needs to take that chance.

Would you rather Mooy a key player in the championship or a squaddie in the premier league?

Gueye has left Everton. Chance for Mooy? Their midfield is quite packed already I believe.

take what you want from this. i've noticed that everton have started to enter the betting odds for a mooy transfer with some online bookies. previously when i bought this up, staying at hudders had shortened to 4th favourite. but in the last week i have seen everton odds shorten and hudders slip right back to 20/1. that puts 7 clubs on shorter odds across different bookies and on par with a couple other clubs. and this movement has happened during the time that fairfax announced - with no source - that hudders was asking for $25 million. fwiw hudders were asking that price at the start of the transfer window.

+xYeah the Fornaroli signing always made me think Keogh was at risk. As for Opseth. Interesting signing. Struggled in turkish second division but has a pretty good goal scoring record beofre that He played in the Super Lig last season, not the second division. He scored 10 goals in the Norwegian league in the 2018 season and finish 8th in the golden boot.

supposedly still no concrete suitors for luongo even though QPR are so certain of his departure they left him out of preseason matches https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-ready-to-sell-luongo-as-sheffield-united-pursue-freemanhttps://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-leistner-leaving-qpr-250719https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/reuniting-with-player-could-be-the-difference-qpr-need-opinion/https://talksport.com/football/efl/577544/qpr-transfer-news-championship-side-close-loan-brighton-striker/he would be a good replacement for mooy if hudders take up an offer another forumite pointed out the $25 mill price tag that fairfax have reported. of course there is no source in this article. not even his agent responded. imo it's a fair price considering what is being thrown around in the premier league. shame one average season - where he was completely overworked - has tarred him https://www.smh.com.au/sport/soccer/huddersfield-town-raise-asking-price-for-socceroos-star-aaron-mooy-20190725-p52apl.html
