Philippines like thewitness said. Former Roar youth player Josh Grommen has played for their u23 team but hasn't been capped at senior level yet.

Brendan Gan and Matthew Davies both play for Malaysia while Curran Ferns has declared his allegiance to Malaysia but hasn't been capped yet.

Macau lead 1:0 over Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka lost to Bhutan 4 years ago. Somewhat surprising they're even poorer than these tiny places.

Asian Qualifiers: Malaysia 7 - 1 Timor-Leste - YouTube

East Timor without their ring-ins making Malaysia look like 2011 Barcelona.

Malaysia would pack out the 87k Bukit Jalil National Stadium for a game against Australia, would be a terrific away trip.

As Sri Lanka is the lowest ranked team in all of Asia (Ranked 202 in the world as of April 2019) whoever plays them in the 2nd round could expect a cricket score (for comparison American Samoa is ranked 190).  But [playing in Sri Lanka would raise some serious security concerns too.

In fairness, a cricket score would be appropriate for Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka v Macau - 2nd leg latest,

FIFA officially cancels the World Cup match between Sri Lanka vs Macau on Tuesday June 11th.

With the official announcement by the Macau FA to FIFA of their decision not travel to Sri Lanka, FIFA has now officially cancelled the above match which was to be played tomorrow Tuesday June 11th in Colombo.

Earlier , Macau FA has requested FFSL to consider playing the above match in a neutral country citing security concerns after Easter Attacks. However, Sri Lanka Football Authorities stand firm to confirm that Sri Lanka is safe and as normal as before and special security plans were put in place to play this game .

Sri Lanka Football wanted to use this occasion to show the world that “Sri Lanka is ready “ to host any international events and to stand together with all communities as one to show solidarity to sports. It was a effort to show everyone that Sri Lankan are still living in harmony and peace with each other except few isolated minor incidents.

Sri Lankan National Football Team Will now advance to the group stages , but will have to wait an official decision by FIFA in few weeks.

FFSL is on right track in taking the game to next level slowly and steadily.

Progress of the National Team was remarkable and it was seen a gradual development in the team .

FFSL will make official announcement once the decision of the match results is announced by FIFA , and the match for tomorrow is officially cancelled. Match Commissioners and other Officials who are here will cut short their visit and return today to their respective countries.

President Anura De Silva net with FIFA Officials and thanked them for their support. He also thanked all staff and LOC for their tireless work .

General Secretary Jaswar Umar , who is currently overseas also showed his appreciation to all staff and LOC.
