+xAccording to Joey Lynch, George Mells will be back in the HAL but not at Adelaide. I liked Mells - I’d certainly take him at Roar if he is coming back

When he was with us he only got junk time mins off the bench and when he did start, it was out of position at DM and looked out of his depth so it's hard to tell whether he's any good or not.

But zero match-day apps in the Eredivisie and not many reserve appearances speaks for itself. Really annoying considering his youth pedigree... something that is all too familiar with our kids.

He’s no DM that’s for sure He'd have to play as a box-to-box CM if anything. He's not strong enough defensively or physically to be a defensive-midfielder, and he's not got that "ooomph" that can unlock defences as an attacking-midfielder. Viable local player to have on the books, but it's quite possible that a player from the NPL leagues in VIC or NSW would be a better option, and cheaper too. If Harry Noon had an Australian passport, he'd be a shoe in for the A-League. Far too good for the NPL, and has loose ties to Queensland via his time at Mitchelton FC in the Brisbane Premier League.

+xVal linking Caceres to Adelaide. I’d rather us bring in a visa 10 and have Brook as backup. Bruce has since poured cold water over this.

Wellington linked with NZ u20 captain Joe Bell.
Hopefully they sign McCowatt as well. He scored 18 goals in 14 NZ Prem games and scored a hattie in the grand final.

His name is literally ‘no one’?
City are signing no one?

He was injured for 5 months was he? It's a long season in Europe, and I understand there are a range of different rules around foreigners in the Netherlands, but surely if you are good enough you play regardless.

Apparently Danny De Silva is looking to go overseas again, several belgian clubs are interested including RSC Anderlecht somehow.
More interestingly is that they acould potentially be looking at Jai Ingham to replace him at SFC.......

If we go and sign jai Ingham I’ll be livid

More than deserves it, has built probably the best resume of an Australian coach who has never managed in the A-League.

+xyer I still find nothing confirming this atm. After posting that I’ve only seen it tweeted by an account called ‘All Sides Of The Harbour’ but nothing from any reputable sources.

With Barbs, Ivanovic and Buhagiar I don't think he would really be needed.
