If Olympic FC get through I would love the Mariners to face them, we would honestly probably get beaten with the squad we have at the moment. Ben Cahn deserves some revenge.

I know you would know their history as some others - me I was a young teen watching my idols playing the game I love and man, some legendary players were at the club during those peak years that many nouvo new dawners lol had to slip that in wouldn't have a clue about them, 60's/70's/early 80's. My Nonna/Granma lived at Blakehurst - my Dad/Uncle's used to take us to games on the weekends, we were/are APIA supporters 1st but you could only admire what players were at Saints back in those days, check the history list below. FYI St George association has the 2 clubs currently in PL2. http://www.stgeorgefootball.com.au/history

And more than deserved considering their history and contribution to the game. If Moreland go through, I hope they do the same for their link toBrunswick Juventus even if the link to them is questionable. If Buleen make it through as well it'd be particularly interesting.

Have no idea what just happened in Tassie.
Devonport miss from two yards out, then South Hobart go up other end and a seventeen-year-old scores to put them in front. then Devonport should have had a penalty but the ref was completely out of his depth the whole match, and from the ensuing corner South snatched the win with their pacy canadian winger scoring...

I used to like them but lost a lot of interest for them a few years back when they got way to big for their boots and tried moving all their FFA Cup games to Bellerive Oval instead of playing at KGV or their usual ground.

Don't mean to nitpick but this is not correct. Edgeworth Eagles and South Cardiff FC are based in Lake Macquarie and are part of Macquarie Football. Maitland FC are the first Hunter Valley team to qualify. FWIW the Jets played the Wanderers at Maitland Sportsground in a pre-season game and I was very impressed with the setup, hope they do get a game there.

I think it is very important, with a league without pro/rel, without transfer fees, that this tournament exists to give them the exposure to shine. That being said there are improvements that need to be made. A continental spot being one of them, allowing state teams to field more internationals etc. But these are overnight fixes that can be done on a dime when the right and competent leadership gets in power. Your thoughts?

Your thoughts? The international players is really unfair to NPL clubs and often gets overlooked. A League clubs should be forced to select 2 foreign players to compete like NPL clubs.
