+x+x+xThe Kiwis are containing SA at 3-216 off 29 overs. Turned out to be a thrilling contest - how many times has that been said this W Cup? Welcome to the forum, Tokyo Pom. Cheers, looking fwd to some better matches in this CWC.

+x+x+x+x2 days in a row 2 blockbusters look like damp squibs first India NZ gets washed out then WI collapse Missed last light. Dark MOFO was on. Good thread, Grazor. Windies pace attack looks more potent than it has for a while. shame would have liked England to stumble out of the tournament If the groundsmen don’t hurry up and utterly flatten out the tracks for the next three games...... That was car crash viewing last night at Leeds :-(

what a match with sri lanka
I accidentally commentated it on the other thread!
It was a thriller. The cup hasn't had a lot apart from the 1 game NZ won against Bangladesh and the 2 England have lost
any others?

India have a modest total against Afghanistan at Southampton - only 208 or something like that.
The Indian new ball attack of Sami and Bumprah looks potent though.

india defend their total with a diet of yorkers at the death
I'm surprised there weren't more scoop shots
1 or 2 of them and the bowler changes their plan and its much more in the favour of the bastmen

+x3 super tight games in a row! NZ and India sneak home by the skins of their teeth after England toppled the cup has come alive! The sloppy attitude of the WIndies in the field early cost them dearly in the end. Pity. Would have kept their chances alive.

After 30 overs I think South A are holding Pakistan to 3 runs an over at Lords.

Afghanistan wrist spinner, Rashid, is getting a bit out of the Southampton pitch against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh 4-172 from 37 overs.
The brakes have been put on by Afghanistan.

Given their domestic political turmoil, I'm gobsmacked how good Afghanistan is at cricket!

5-246 after 48 overs isn't that good from Bangladesh.

+xKiwis are in trouble batting against Pakistan at 5-92. A good score now on this non one day wicket? Anything over 200?

Have the Kiwis peaked too soon? Valiant effort by the inform Jimmy Neesham. Pakis proving to be more than a dark horse now.

India at 5-180 off 38 overs, after Kohli played an awful pull shot by his own standards.

Dhoni has scored slowly in this innings.
Is he past his best?

+xDhoni has scored slowly in this innings. Is he past his best? Dhoni has morphed into more of a G Boycott of late but at least he smashed two 6s in the final over, plus India’s tail is long - this should be exploited in the SF
