India struggling for quick singles. Its a real weakness in their game

Not only worth another 5 or so runs in the first 10, it makes wickets less likely and loose balls more frequent!

When I’m watching Jofra Archer rattle batters with his pace, he wasn’t as fast as Tasmanian Riley Meredith when they played last season for the Hobart Hurricanes. 

Archer often bowls in the high   140s, but Meredith goes over 150kph. 

Archer probably bowls straighter, but I think Meredith bowled faster last season in the Shield than anyone in this WC. 

Wood has bowled balls at 154 kph, but doesn’t even average 140kph. 

Meredith was recorded at 154 kph in BBL. 

I wonder whether Meredith could’ve been a better option than NCN or Richardson? 

It is good seeing batters taking quick, well judged singles with good understanding with their partners.

I wish we had James Pattison in the squad. Another oldball specialist who might be even better than cummins!

We might be a bit stronger with Warner and Smith back in Tests. 

I never want to see either as VC or Captain again though. 

We’ve improved our ODI batting. 

I’m enjoying One Day much more than 20/20.

t20 has grown on me. Its paradoxically become a bowlers game!

It will be shocking for English interest in the WC if they lose this game and miss out on the semis.
