Not feeling too confident as a City fan. We've been in preseason for less then 1 month, travelled to India (who knows if anyone got sick), played one NPL level club and played another that was well above our skill level.

If City dont get another game in before the Cup, then I can see Roar winning easily (if they field a full-strength team).

Just over 3,000 tickets sold to the FFA Cup game ... could see double that on the night if the weather stays good 👍

Unsubstantiated but I heard a month ago they’d enquired about Song and he was either too expensive or the ffa money wouldn’t cover it. Or most likely both.

Good to see we're still actively looking for another midfielder as I feel it's what we need.

Yes I have bad memories of that too...Puyo looks like he has some skill and can tackle etc but what videos don't show is attitude ,consistency and an ability to fit the Roar player culture.I often think it would be more useful to see a players "bloopers" video to see what sort of weaknesses they have  and how they handle stuffing up .

No neither am I. Especially as Hervas had an excellent video compilation but came with two left feet lol.

He certainly has skills,is mobile and can pick a pass from deep.So looks a likley fit.
We certainly want him here early and no visa delays.

Not a great believer in video compilations to judge players but he looks half decent in this one .

Normal Marquees don't have to satisfy any criteria. It's an accounting exercise only.

This Loïc Puyo doesn't look too bad having knocked about Ligue 1 & 2 for his career. Eric B would probably be familiar. If we are getting another marquee i'd want it to happen soon and get them here training asap.

Transfermark has Puyo’s value at 810,000 pounds, so he’s clearly no muppet.

yeah, Mauk at DM would work for me too. I’d prefer him at 10 with a quality DM behind but I wouldn’t be upset to see him playing deeper.

Sounds exciting Waz. Hopefully something comes of it. Perhaps we've moved away from the DM and are looking to play Mauk there as the box to box now?

Yeah it’s definately not this bloke, the “other” player has apparently played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs and played top-tier international football. So there’s definitely more than one name in the frame. I’ll do some digging today and see if I can find anything out.

Doesn't seem worth that much? Could be wrong. Also don't think he would come close to qualifying as marketable enough to satisfy the marquee criteria. 

Transfermarkt lists him as a central midfielder (with LM and DM as secondary positions). Some of his highlights show him playing both deep and further forward, so could perhaps occupy that box to box role McKay played.
