+xGiannou will be leaving his club. Handy type. Can't say he's been bad in a gold shirt. He does especially well against Asian opponents but I can't remember him featuring much in tougher encounters. he would be a great marquee in the hal

Couldn’t agree more. The Allams have a lot to answer for but not this, when your captain @EricLichaj and vice captain @jacksonirvine_ don’t respect their employers who have paid them handsomely for two three years, it says a lot about them as people. #hcafc Finish season then go. Jackson Irvine is class. He’ll be in demand. Would love him at @swfcInteresting. Fans of Forest, QPR, Wednesday, Birmingham and Celtic have written fondly.

Socceroos midfielder Jackson Irvine has left Hull City, four days before the English Championship season restarts.Socceroos star Jackson Irvine has left Hull City, less than a week before the restart of the English Championship season.Irvine is one of four out-of-contract players who have failed to agree short-term extensions that would enable them to feature in the final nine games of the campaign for the relegation-haunted Tigers.

Would love to have him at Sydney to play with Alf but there's no way we could fit him in the salary cap unless we let a few go Hearing their are a lot not coming back to FC , may have plenty of space under the Cap.

+x+x+x+xBrad Inman off to India Aidan O’Neill off to City Decent for O'Neill. City should see him have good facilities and hopefully a springboard back to Europe. Is this a purchase from Burnley or another loan? Roar have bigger and better facilities than City lol But CFG's dirty oil billions Yes, they have that lol ... in terms of “best facilities” for training it has to be: 1/ Wanderers 2/ CCM 3/ Roar, City 4/ Adelaide, Nix everyone else is on Parkland

I wonder where Amini will end up? Free transfer. He's ready for Bundesliga 2 and this would be a top test. Perhaps a League One Club with a little more money might get him. MK Dons? Fleetwood?

+x+x+x+xSST tweeting Donachie to Jets on a 3-year deal. I know he has his fans, but I'm pretty meh on it. Guess it's curtains for Boogs. (Nothing against Jets) but this is a player who’s lost his way with an incoherent transfer strategy and general apathy towards preseason training every year.
A man who should have been playing overseas regularly and knocking on the Socceroos door by now is apparently heading to Newcastle for three years. WTF went wrong there? Lazy player who is happy to go on the merry-go-around of clubs here. Hes not even that good if im honest. I’ll agree with all that. Started out very nervous at Roar (was the master of own goals for a while) then left one season too early imo (same with Corey Brown, who is also lazy imo) Can you confirm Inman and O'Neill have gone?

sad to see Donks go, but not surprised. I'm expecting a total cleanout with Nabbout going to Perth as well. and its hard to get the security of a 3 year deal in the AL. I'm happy to see Carrigan get more of a go as well.

We have Boogs and NTS. We also have a player that is no better nor worse than Donks in Lachlan Jackson. We also have Koutrombis who is actually a centre back, and Langlois has played there too. This feels like a lazy signing tied in with Carl's dodgy Avid Sports Group connections to me. Yes but look at the poor results at Newcastle this year when Boogs was out injured. Since he has been back Newcastle has had a resurgence. I'm not surprised there new manger is looking at other CB options.

+x+xRevisit this due to the amount of free agents from tomorrow, couldn’t find the thread for contracted players though. surely contracts are extended till the supposed end of season Only if the club and player both agree to do so. I'm sure many will agree to extensions, but there will sure be some that don't. Especially those players that have been told they are not having their contacts extended past the end of the current season.
