they really need to beat 35k after getting get honda and winning the championship 

reckon there has been a bit more hype in melbourne over the past 48 hours. still don't think we'll get much more than 30k, but i guess thats just based on how things unfolded last year. maybe the extra 2 weeks waiting has got people salivating for a bit of live sport? i guess we'll find out on the weekend.

To be honest there is sweet fk all about the match, And even SKY Sports NZ announced that the game was in New Castle ffs! But there has been some publicity about our future in the A-League last few weeks that have been positive.

Is there much excitement/ talk about the Phoenix and league in general over in Wellington? We wouldn't know too much as you rarely hear a thing about them over here

Why is everyone thinking Wellington will only get 6k? When the last pax 2 days ago was Pax 8670. We are getting 10k people!! Unlike the Melb Derby that will fall on its ass.

Just picked up my membership from Logan and they’re confident of a crowd of over 15,000 for Sunday based on very strong ticket sales to date. Let’s see.

There is absolutely minimal hype & excitement for this coming HAL season.

Just my opinion but it will be a 30k max turn out.

If Victory can’t beat that with Honda etc coming off the back of a championship then the season is set

Victory's highest attendance was 35,792 - Rnd 2 vs MCY last season hopefully with honda we can beat that 

If expansion is canned, attendances will comfortably go sub 10k for the season.

As apposed to every other year when it's been 35-45k, when it's all spring racing?

This season will be bad. The first 2-4 rounds will mask the problem but watch it crash and burn spectacularly. It's just going to get worse year on year at this rate especially with the governing crisis. I have washed my hands with this rubbish.

Melb derby might be lucky to crack 30k imo.
