Its a Catholic school, if you take away RE its just a normal school so yes it is compulsory.
Ive never really minded RE myself but this semester I got the worst teacher, a teacher who is a passionate RE teacher yet not even Catholic, she is a massive bitch who takes things seriously and is prone to huge rants in her annoying almost hypnotic voice that no matter how hard you try you just cant listen too, and she is a lesbian, not sure what that has to do with things but she is. Had a double today and I dont know how I got through it.

worst: Yesterday morning I went to start my car and the fucking battery was dead...so my brother drops me into work and I have to get my father in law to pick me up as I was having dinner at the in-laws. On the way home from the in-laws my wife's car overheats so I have to get it towed from the city to my mechanic. Now I have two cars out of commission. This morning, I get up intending to fit my new battery for my car and I cant find my keys...they are left at work. So I have to borrow dads car at 7am this morning drive to work get my car keys, drop my dads car off go back home ready to fit my new battery so I can get to work - with a little trouble I manage to get the negative and positive battery clips off. Then I find that my battery is bolted down and the bolt is in a space where you could only fit an infants or a dwarfs hand. So I awkwardly get my wrench in this small gap, turn slip and split my knuckle open on the inner workings of the car. Now there is blood pissing out everywhere. I give up, go inside get ready for work my brother drops me off again. My wife's car need a new water pump and mine is just a fucking battery.
