+xEr where’s Craig Johnston? I thought McBreen had one cap? Australia national team coach Pim Verbeek selected McBreen in an extended squad of 25 players for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia in Brisbane on 3 March 2010. He was an unused substitute as Australia beat Indonesia 1–0. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_McBreen#International_career

+xEr where’s Craig Johnston? I thought McBreen had one cap? Others would say otherwise but Johsnton and Dorigo were huge "miss's" way back then but it was farfar different than the modern times re Club NT duties responsibilities.

This guy was eligible, pretty sure he had an Australian mother. 10 Bundesliga and 80 B2 games at a time when we had Viduka, Aloisi https://www.transfermarkt.com/christoph-teinert/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/2600/saison//verein/167/liga/0/wettbewerb//pos/0/trainer_id/We’d kill for a guy like this now

Brandon O'Neill and Riley McGree are eventually going to get caps, especially the later. Not sure why you included Liam Reddy in your list as you stipulated 'greatest'.

Quite a selection of clubs he played for!! Moriarty i see was inducted into the FFA hall of fame and yet never played for the roos - i think he only one! Had never heard of Mitchell.

Good shout. Its a wonder he never got selected to play for the roos circa 2011-12 when he was playing in China for Beijing Guon. Had a good record there and we didnt have a heap of strikers at the time. Archie was still getting a game for the roos.

Great shout, totally forgot about him. Would definitely be in and around the squad these days with our current crop - looks similar calibre to Mclaren, Giannou, Taggart, Juric.

Perkins and Moriarty would have played for Australia if it hadn't been for the ban by FIFA which prevented us from playing international matches, from about 59-63.
