Those ratings are metro only and are missing about 100,000 from regional. I wouldn't bother with AFL as it out rates everything.

Less than half of what Football WC’s get 

I saw a ratings number somewhere on Twitter for yesterday's final between Collingwood and the Giants. It was a very, very large number.  Couldn't believe it to be honest.
The Syndey number only made up about 6% of the total, coming in at 114k.

Collingwood v GWS:

Seven - 1.398m

Storm v Eels:
Fox - 313k
Nine - 927k

The fact that NRL GF is on Sunday night prime time (instead of Sat daytime) means they will obliterate the AFL.

Looks like we didn't make the FTA ratings top 20, which cuts out at 232k with The Project.
Judging by the Fox ratings, I'm guessing we probably got around the 200k mark on ABC.

i'm not really sure how we can analyse TV ratings this year when we have Kayo subscriber numbers increasing substantially. Plus the My Football App

Yeh, true, another reasson why 48k isn't too bad.

We report whatever numbers we get our hands on, at the moment, the TV ratings are still available.

Also, isn't everything on Fox available on Kayo?  So presumably some are watching the supercars on Kayo as well, they had multiple entries in the top 20, and got 2nd spot overall with 79k.  You'd hope against better opposition we'd beat the number on a mid-week night.

And the FTA numbers look down on recent years, no doubt about it, but Seven News is still getting close to one million viewers, hardly a number which can be ignored.

ABC news got 600k.  On Saturdays, that late arvo game is leading into their News, which has potential to add a lot of viewers.  Something to keep an eye on.

Too high?  We don't really know because we have no recent ABC numbers to go on - might be that high for the primary channel.

But we have seen games on ABC (and other channels) in the past over 200k. Never with a Foxtel figure that low though

We might be well on the way to a return to 150k ratings on FTA.

Decent numbers for what was a really poor game, for obvious reasons. I would be really happy if the a-league can replicate those figures throughout the season.

With next to zero media leading into the match, say compare to the Wallabies last Saturday with no competition.
