Looking like the Blues were 30/40 short. Burns and Wildermuth taking them home. Still one wicket and into the Bull's long tail.

+x+x+x+x
The Blues take on the Bulls this morning. Waiting half the day for 50 over pyjama cricket is not worth it so glad this is a day game at least. Agree. There was a half-decent crowd with lots of kids at the waca for the first half yesterday, but then most went home at the tea-break - other than the members. thingybob your quote is not showing. You are pressing reply I presume? Ah yep. Sometimes I have problems on my phone seeing which reply button to hit! I was replying to your comment about the 2pm start not being the preferred option.

+x+x+x+x+xThe Warriors have named a strong 13-man squad for their opening two List A. matches in Perth. Omitted are Mitch Marsh and Jason Behrendorff: Ashton Turner (c), Cameron Bancroft, Ashton Agar, Hilton Cartwright, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Cameron Green, Matt Kelly, Shaun Marsh, Josh Philippe, Jhye Richardson, D'Arcy Short, Marcus Stoinis, Andrew Tye. I am excited by two of their next gen..Josh Philippe and Cameron Green. Unless I am a bad judge these two will play both formats for their country. Matt Kelly is maturing into an excellent bowler too. Jhye Richardson returns.. for mine our most promising quick in past decade.
CA contracts: Nathan Coulter-Nile, Shaun Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Marcus Stoinis. WA contracts: Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Jason Behrendorff, Jake Carder, Hilton Cartwright, Cameron Green, Liam Guthrie, Aaron Hardie, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kelly, Simon Mackin, Mitch Marsh, David Moody, Joel Paris, Josh Philippe, D'arcy Short, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Sam Whiteman. Rookies: Sam Fanning, Jayden Goodwin, Bradley Hope, Lance Morris, Matthew Spoors.
Ashton Agar probably feels hard done losing his CA contract. I guess if you are not playing then it does make sense. He needs an injury-free year to push his national claims. Same goes for Behrendorff. Glad that keeper Sam Whiteman is still part of the Warriors setup after missing almost two seasons with a similar finger injury that floored our skipper Tim Paine. I will be there at the WACA with bells in 4 hours time! Why isn't Behrendorff included? Josh Philippe looking in fine touch so far Well that was comprehensive! Phillipe and M.Kelly were the standouts for me, Stoinis the 6-hitting machine not withstanding. Maxwell played a pretty sensible innings.Finch was looking good early. Pucovski never looked comfortable. Let’s hope W.A can keep the momentum. Phillipe batted well in the Shield at Bellerive last season.

Stoinis says he will be a superstar. Impressed by Joe Burns and Jack Wildermuth staying cool to get the Bulls home. Jack is another whose barrow I have been pushing for some time. A true all round talent.

+x+xNot sure Blues have sufficient runs. Good knocks by Edwards, Henriques and Bertus on his List A debut. Stanlake the pick of the Bulls quicks.
Sam Heazlett is treating this Blues attack with disdain. I want him playing white ball for us this year. [/img]https://media.gettyimages.com/vectors/cricket-batsman-vector-id483913507?s=612x612[/img]

Only 6 list A games so far but with a strike rate of 29.8 (ave 23.7) ! And his first class economy is 2.82. One of those quiet achievers that sneak under the radar.

Teen Cameron Green has not saddled up for either Warrior game to date. Suppose the powers to be are keeping him in cotton wool.

+xDC the Tigers lack a good mid innings spinner. They don't need one to get Maxwell out when he invents his own methods, ha! Such a frustrating player to watch. But yeh, it's a bit monotonous right now. The speedsters can only mix it up so much. Even the bouncers are dull!

True, but it's a tough bowling team to break into when you have Ashton Agar's spot tied down and then a bunch of quality quicks - Richardson, Kelly, Coulter-Nile, Tye, Paris. That's without accounting for allrounders Stoinis and Mitch Marsh. Cameron Green was in the squad on Saturday but missed out on the final 11. Going to get even squishier with Marsh back in on Wednesday. Opportunities may come for Green if Richardson can regain National selection.

No my point being that selectors were treading carefully with Green after his back stress injury ruined his 2018/19 season. Understandable. We dont want another Cummins saga.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xThe Warriors have named a strong 13-man squad for their opening two List A. matches in Perth.
No doubt you have heard now why the Dorff did not play. He now plans having the same back surgery that Pattinson had. Another career spoilt in its prime. It is a crying shame. And I wish him all the best for his recovery, hopefully the NZ surgery will offer some possibilities. But on the bright side, it offers some youngsters like Matthew Kelly an opportunity to shine. Only 6 list A games so far but with a strike rate of 29.8 (ave 23.7) ! And his first class economy is 2.82. One of those quiet achievers that sneak under the radar. I have been keeping a beady eye on young Kelly for a while now. that is sure some strike rate. Another from your neck of the woods is someone Brad Hogg had big wraps on a while back.. another chinaman tweaker Hinchcliffe. What has happened to him? Good question. He's still in the Warriors squad and has signed with the Melbourne stars for the BBL. He had the one Shield game couple years back and a Scorchers game last season, but apart from that he's just been trundling along playing club cricket, as far as I know. I question this giving a young player one shield game and then nothing. Same thing happened to Arjun Nair. He may have gotten two games tho. Great way to destroy any confidence he may have. Teen Cameron Green has not saddled up for either Warrior game to date. Suppose the powers to be are keeping him in cotton wool. Tigers having some probs finishing this.

+x+x+x+x+xIs DC watching his Tigers hammering the Bushies. No mate. My phone is too small and my desktop computer doesn't upload the newer videos. I think it may do if you upgrade browsers. I just got the short vids to load with Brave. But Opera is a nice browser too. But I need a Cricket Australia account for the live streams. It's also on Kayo. 2 weeks free trial. Its on CA for free too. Great that there are so many options! I like Kayo because it shows a fair bit of International cricket as well, only $25/month. And also I like to watch the tennis!
