Some interesting names for the Blues in their Futures match tomorrow in Adelaide.
Arjun Nair is injured and replaced by Oliver Davies..who happened to score a cracking 165 in Premier Cricket on Saturday so is in prime red ball form. The two rookie Ryans.. Hadley and Hackney are in the squad as is Nick Bertus, Daniel Solway and Param Uppal. Ryan Gibson has been given another chance. He must take it.

Lloyd Pope, Will Bosisto, Harry Nielsen and David grant are the three knowns in the Redbacks team.

Draw between the Blues and Redbacks. Best performers in the match were Oliver Davies, Ryan Hackney, Liam Scott with centuries. Lloyd Pope (5), Liam Hatcher (8), Tim Oakley (4) with the ball.

Lloyd Pope produced a Shane Warne like ambush this arvo. The Blues were cruising up to tea. Ryan Hackney had posted his century , Dan Solway his half. Within a short time both of them plus Nick Bertus (0) were back in the sheds all at the hand of the 'ginga ninja'. At stumps Blues have slumped to be in a touch of bother.

There are several putting up their hands for a spot in the Blues shield side with runs in both Futures League and Premier Cricket. Oliver Davies added to his PC 165 with a Futures 100 while promising opening bat Ryan Hackney followed his FL ton last week with another in the PC on Saturday. Forgotten Blues top order batsman Ryan Gibson is back among the runs with a blast posting a Futures 80 and and PC century in the past week.

Nathan McSweeney and perennial underachiever Jake Leehman took the willow to the bowlers in their respective Premier Cricket matches on the weekend.

Is Jason Sangha about to deliver a breakout year. The 20 year old has started Premier cricket with a bang @48 from first three games and yesterday scored his second only Futures century.
