yep good stuff, hoping many of the old clubs get themselves organised for proposals.

The question of space and stadia has constricted the conversation in Australian football. Apostolovski believes their home at Lambert Park in Leichhardt - with a capacity of 7,000 - is adequate for a professional club.

Lambert Park cannot hold 7,000 people in a fit.  2,000 is pushing it.  Whilst I believe that they have the finances & professionalism to compete in a 2nd Division they'd be better off just going to Leichhardt Oval up the road.

Whether they have to play at Lambert Park or Leichhardt Oval, it makes no difference. Both perfect for a club in the inner west and both in Leichhardt.

In terms of providing decent facilities to spectators Leichhardt has it all over Lambert so if you're thinking about minimum standards for a possible NSD I'd doubt that Lambert would even qualify.  Especially at the moment that their grandstand doesn't even have a roof.
