The way it works in the continent is a club has certain amount of scouts and a director of football that look into bringing in players.
If Musky sees fit that an Aussie could make an difference to the squad then he will argue that idea to the director of football and the scouting team.
Will that be possible remains to be seen.
Personally if they look into an Aussie it will likely be an young player given they have a lot of younger players in thier books.
Arzani could be an option or even Thomas Deng too.

+x+xDid Muscat have any ‘favourites’ during his time at MV that he would be likely to bring in? More the other way around, because playing for Kev was a big reason he came to Victory, Antonis might give it a go, although his salary expectations may be a bit too high. Won't have to deal with a salary cap though..

+x+xNice work. Can’t even remember the last Aussie head coach in a decent Euro league. John Harbin was caretaker at Coventry for a couple of games in the Championship in 2008. You should have taken that to the trivia thread!

+x+xDid Muscat have any ‘favourites’ during his time at MV that he would be likely to bring in? Well, if I had to have a guess at his top 5 based off the squad from 14-15, and the squad now, I would say Milligan Broxham Nabbout Thomas Deng Maybe even Rojas I hope you brings in some of the Olyroos eg Bacchus, Glover, D'Agostinho, Deng, Ryan and Piscopo are all equipped to play at that standard.

+xOh yeah. Popa had a couple of days in Turkey. I had so much faith he'd turn that club around with 2 seasons of transfer windows only to learn how bad the club was run. What a horrow show.

This is really good, the club has shown so much faith in him, keeping the spot for him while he gets his tickets. Hopefully this is the start of something great.

This is quite a thing. All the best. Corona aside here's to hoping the season can get into swing and he's not sacked by December.
