You can't deny however that prior to that Trump was actively encouraging people to protest stay at home orders in democrat states, "liberating" their states and "protecting the second amendment" (how exactly that was under threat I'll never know). Add people flocking to beaches/parks it's hardly a surprise cases are skyrocketing
