JJ is now keen to bid for the men's tournament, and rightly says why not? I agree, have a go son!

1) I'm sure Asia can't bid to host as 2022 was in Qatar- doesn't it have to be at least two world cups before the same confederation can bid? Or has that rule changed?

2) Even if we were to bid, this WC is going to South America to commemorate 100 years since the first World Cup. Otherwise it is going to Europe.

3) If it didn't go to Europe it'd then surely go to them in 2034... leaving us realistically only within any chance in 2038.

4) Asia or Africa would fight it out for 2038, however it wouldn't have been in Africa for a long time by then.

5) 2042 it is then 😀

Hard to see China not being the next host from the AFC.

Agree. Let’s save the money and get things right in the game first, before throwing away money on another failed attempt at trying to navigate the FIFA madness again.

Get make the WWC 2023 a big success and use that as our opportunity to rebuild the Confidence in our game again.

Probably the only way they wouldn’t get it is if India don’t improve drastically but China do so FIFA gets both countries involved.

With the expansion of AFC spots China should qualify although that isnt certain.

Either way way if I’m still alive I would probably expect to see an Indian WC before an Australian one if they bid.

I'd take that - just no later or I might be pushing up daisies.

There won't be a pattern to follow to work out who gets the next few World Cups. That's just piss ant egoism. Its the shortest skirt with the best legs
at the time when teams are putting in bids, the winner can be an underdog.

😂 Yeh maybe this time the promo could include a cricket player rip the World Cup trophy in half and bowl it to a cricketer who hits it for a 6.

Fucking idiots 😡

Last thing I heard was that they were abandoning the Federation rotation and just saying you can't host 2 in a row...  Which would mean that Asia is theoretically back in for 2030...  It also means Europe will be back in for 2026 - which will mean England will no doubt have another go, and another slap in the face with the tournament going back to Spain or Spain/Portugal.  2030 would then be between the Americas, Africa and Asia... The USA will want it again - and they are an easy option for FIFA - and Japan will want it again (having had to co-host last time).

2026 has already been awarded to US/Canada/Mexico.

England is going in for 2030.

it was the whole point of them bidding for Columbia for the women’s WC.

they needed to toe the line with the UEFA block so they get the full support of the confederation for their 2030 bid.
