I've had the test 3 times because i have a persistent cough,  from something unrelated to covid but doctors just want to make sure its not masking covid.
The first time it wasn't painful but definitely made your eyes water. The throat made me gag.
Second one just eyes watering and they didn't go anywhere near as far.
Third time was even less invasive.
(All times I've self isolated immediately)

Having said that, i know people who have had it after me that have complained of bad taste for hours,  irritation and one had a blood nose for days.

Think it might be down to the tester really.

So from what I read there will be 30,000 volunteers, of which only 15,000 will be given the vaccine. 

From there they'll monitor all 30,000 volunteers to see if the vaccine is effective or not and so on. 

My only question on this is what the health condition of those 30,000 is before getting the vaccine. 

If all are perfectly healthy with no health issues at all, then isn't it fair to say none of them will be affected by the coronavirus considering it only mainly affects those already with chronic illnesses?

I guess it doesn't matter how much it affects them, rather than if they catch it or not. Surely all cohorts would be tested throughout.

For example, she has said many gynaecological problems are the result of “tormenting spirits” having sex with women in their dreams.

I find it both sad and funny that mainstream media reveal some weird fucked up beliefs of this doctor, to try and make Trump look stupid for quoting her and the many other doctors on the topic of hydroxychloroquine and how safe and effective it is.

It would be much wiser of the critics to come out and prove her and the other doctors wrong on this topic with evidence of their own. This would make Trump look much worse compared highlighting what her beliefs are on a topic that is completely irrelevant to what Trump tweeted hydroxychloroquine.

How about she put up the results for peer review?  Considering she says she's only 'cured' 350 people when the infections are in the 10's of thousands and 85% of people 'cure' themselves with or without drugs it's a stretch for her to stand there and say the gub'ment is holding the 'cure' back.

If I was going to visit a doctor I would 100% like to know beforehand that he or she thinks that tormenting spirits are raping women so I can cancel my appointment.

I watched the full speech she gave and Q&A afterwards. She was asked if she would publish her results, and she said what's the point, there's plenty of information already available. 

That's why I'm saying the media is much better off pointing to those facts instead of something irrelevant.

Personally I couldn't give a fuck what her beliefs are. I'm more interested to know if what she's saying is right or wrong, and my point is that the media would be better off pointing out her wrongs on the topic.

Context is important.  If you can quickly infer she's a raving lunatic because she believes the government is using alien DNA to create vaccines then you've saved yourself a bunch of time.

Yes I take your point there is a miniscule chance that despite her lunacy she may be actually correct.  But this is why 'respectable' and 'reputable' are such valued words in science.

That's right, especially considering there was many doctors that all got up and gave their reasons why they believe hydroxychloroquine works. 

For anyone sitting on the fence wondering if these doctors are right or wrong, I just believe it would be better off to show the facts that prove them wrong, instead of focusing on one nut case's personal views as evidence what she and the other doctors spoke about is garbage.
