Sydney have always struggled against Brisbane...even when were were at out worst . It is definitely a game that could go either way . Sydney have the superior team on paper but their form is sketchy and Brisbane have more to play for . Hopefully a good game .

We have the advantage of not knowing where our opponents in Glory and Western will finish, so BR must play to win. This will open us up a bit. Given how quick SFC are on the counter that will open up some chances for them. Hopefully Jamie has a blinder and we nick it 1 nil.

No Rhyan Grant for Sydney is a big factor. Both teams are still trying to come back from the break - but Sydney needs its stars to click properly, where we need our team to click. Easier for really good players to find form than for a team to click - especially when we have not really replaced a key defensive player. Heart says Roar win so that is obviously the best tipping tool. Roar 3-1. DWH to score one just to get back at me for suggesting he plays in concrete boots, one to Inman off some Scotty Mac brilliance, and a tap in for Macca to keep his goal count moving. Game to be openly wrecked by the ref of course. Loving how interesting every game is both with the unexpected quality of plays and how 2nd to 6th can still be shaped by almost every game. Roar could win and go third only to face a thriving Western United or Adelaide - or lose and end up in a 4th v 5th against either team. And yet might just as easily face the stumbling Glory wherever we end up. Having a top 6 in finals is keeping the competition intriguing.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Very interesting and must watch clash this one. Without Grant, I would say the Roar are a real chance, probably 1 - 1.

If the Roar don't concede first, I can see a 1-0 win for the Roar. Chance of 3rd should be motivation enough to get the result.

Its not a one man team re Grant. Out last 2wks as you'd know. This will be a good game looking forward to it be wary of a SFC back to form. Bratten returns from suspension.

Depends what side Sydney put out. I'm thinking Brisbane won't be going all out this match, as a draw or loss would mean they would be playing Perth rather than Adelaide in the first round or finals. 2-1 Sydney.

This has the potential of Roar parking the bus until Sydney score first. Predict an ugly game until then. 0-0 or SFC 3-0 BR

Have been plenty of wet and windy A-League games in summer over the years (Jets vs Mariners 4-3 game earlier this year for example). Sun's out now however!

We orange fans recall all to well a particular game called off before the 90 minutes for heavy rain before we got a chance to equalise with a free kick we had been given but were not allowed to take. Bitter? Me?

This was the Roar v Nix game called off around the 73rd minute with the score 0-1. A promising attack had just been shutdown with a foul and the ref blew for the foul then called the game off before it was taken. At the ground we believed we were a real chance to score based on how we had been building.

How about that ball from Jay O’Shea ... that’s what you get when you sign players from the English third division 😉
nice finish from Dillon as well. Won’t shut the critics up but will make them happier ...

Why does a Roar home game have to have #LoveNSW banners? Even further from a home fixture.

We are holding off them when they get to the final third letting Sydney setup and dictate their attack - always bad for us when we do that.
