+x+x+xCCM are going nowhere. The owners of the Sydney and Melbourne clubs do not want more clubs 'on their turf'. Next clubs will be:- 1) where there are no current clubs e.g. Canberra, Wollongong, Hobart or dare I say it Auckland 2) where there is only one e.g. Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth. The only exception may be Dandenong (Team XI) since it is sufficiently geographically distinct from Melbourne. Hard to see a Canberra club pulling bigger attendances than CCM, but that would be a possible move for the franchise. Highest non-Socceroo Asian Cup attendance during 2015. And don't point me towards the two Mariners games held later on-They had no connection to Canberra whatsoever. Devil's advocate, I guess the Asian Cup games didn't either.. To my knowledge there hasn't their been full senior mens NT game on the Central Coast ever. The last Olyroo game was in 2007. The last Matildas game in 2011. In the meantime we have Socceroo and Matilda games in Canberra, Penrith, Campbelltown, Newcastle and Wollongong, Coffs Harbour, Parramatta. The FFA seems to be more intent on fostering football anywhere but the Central Coast.

That season the Mariners average Gosford crowd was only 7,799 (using wiki as source), so no-one could say anything about Canberra still managing over 5k twice to watch a below average team based 4 hours away. And that's why I say don't point to the Mariners crowds in Canberra

Surely they have to move to northern Sydney sooner or later. 18/19 Total Avg Biggest17/18 19/20 Ultimate A-league Stats Coastal Derby a winner

Important dates: The date the New era NLWG recommendations were accepted by FFA council. Then compare with thye Date the Bull licence was granted. The FFA may get the full licence Fee.

+x+xAgree , it’s really got me beat how our national capital don’t have a team in the National football comp yet we have a team from NZ and the Central Coast . I made them on PES, does that count? I mean Canberra was one of the teams I put in when I replaced all the MLS team names with Australian city names in FIFA 99 on the Nintendo 64. How about that Lowy, looks like the A-League and its initial one club per city rule were all early highschool Pala's ideas after all.

• FFA will receive 10% yields from the sale of new Club licenses and on the net profits from any sale of existing licenses. https://www.apfca.com.au/new-leagues-working-group-nlwg-reaches-in-principle-agreement-on-recommendations-for-a-new-era-for-football-in-australia/Are they bound to be in Sydney? Can they sell the license if need be? To another state or country? If MFC don’t play how much less money do FFA get from Foxtel? Or do CCM just move to Sydney and get it over with

There was an accident on the way to work and I was stuck in traffic and therefore 25 minutes late to work.
I want to sue the idiots involved in the pile up for the pain and frustrated that was caused to me because of their incompetence.

Macarthur FC are also being sued by a former worker, with Neil Favager claiming uncertainty around his position caused "significant health & safety issues" for him and heightened stress & anxiety for his spouse. Macarthur strongly denied the claims. [SMH] https://t.co/OOIJy3q8X9— A-League Hub (@AleagueHub) June 2, 2020Neil Favager, who joined Macarthur FC as chief operating officer in October 2019, claims some of his duties were reassigned amid a change of ownership at the club, and that the uncertainty around his position caused "significant health and safety issues" for him and heightened stress and anxiety for his spouse, which were aggravated by a pre-existing medical issue."

+xWSW formed a team in 6 weeks. I'm sure MFC can get their act together post COVID-19. They certainly have no excuses. Plenty of time.

Let’s hope for the sake of the game that Macarthur do have their act together and will deliver.
After a less than stellar entry to the competition by WU (their stadium is surely even further delayed now with all events going on), we need some good news stories.
