Pretty easy answer for me. CNN and other "MSM" outlets have been calling on Trump to get vaccinated publicly for months. There is no way in hell Trump would do something that makes it look like he's conceding a point to them, even if it means more people get the jab.

GOP should have taken it on the chin (pun intended) and cut off ties with Trump. They would suffer in the mid terms, but could recover quicker. Now there is this constant drag from Trump on the outside.

Don’t know the market rate in the US, but in the land of litigation, probably. Just looked. The most they can charge is $1000 a day . I don’t think that’s correct. Maybe they have that as a consumer protection clause for small matters. Yeah that doesn't sound right. A cheap barrister here costs $5k a day. Can't imagine what a QC would charge.
