Entertaining, but I doubt any of these debates will change much.

I would be surprised if these debates change 1 vote.

looking forward to seeing foreign policy in a future debate

Shit debate. Trump has appalling debating skills, he’s asked a question and always goes off on a tangent about something unrelated. Biden is just a silly old man out of his depth who should he committed to a nursing home.

It's kinda crazy that the future and direction of the US is dictated by people so old.

Amazing that Trump brings up Biden's son when that clown is the king of nepotism.  His son in-law, his daughter, his friends, his sons all on the government whack.

Weird nobody calls him on it.

at least he is consistently a piece of shit.  until the virus hit i thought that trump had no chance of losing the next election. the fact that it will plow through his heartland the hardest will possibly cost him the election. the level of alt right fantasy is astounding in its normalcy in the republican dialogue - through supporters, politicians, news. people are just openly denying the virus issue exists.  you have republican politicians saying the economic costs out way the deaths and that there should be no shut down.

the biggest danger comes when trump loses the election and refuses to accept the outcome. i did not think this was a risk before because he was not going to lose. but now he possibly will, and his supporters think it's been caused by a democratic inflicted virus hoax and shutdown, and they will jump on trump refusing the outcome.  big call but i can see militia outbreaks and the leanings of a civil war incoming.

i just dont understand how the media is surprised by anything trump is doing. it's been obvious for a long time how this was going to play out.  if i can call it i dont see what's stopping more informed people from reading the situation.

It’s to feed the media machine. All this outrage causes clicks. If it’s reported as same old Trump, then people won’t bother clicking.

Gotta love the wildly different characterisations of Antifa and Proud Boys on Wikipedia;

The Proud Boys is a far-right neo-fascist male-only organization that promotes and engages in political violence

Antifa is an anti-fascist and left-wing political movement in the United States comprising an array of autonomous groups that aim to achieve their objectives through the use of both nonviolent and violent direct action rather than through policy reform.

Hahahaha.  And Trump is called the "divisive" one :hehe:

Yeah good piece . The division has been bubbling for decades. The civil rights movement was supposed to be a watershed but it made the racists even more bolden.  Sdy the working class will spite themselves and vote for the gop as they believe the rhetoric.

Bullshit. The whole “systemtic racism” mantra is a ploy designed by the left to galvanise blacks to vote against Trump in November. They desperately need the black vote to beat Trump, so in the absence of any actual evidence for systemic racism they have resorted to casting traditional ideas and systems such as immigration, law and order and even the American flag as symbols of racial oppression. They (Democrats) do this every 4-8 years around election time, they try to whip up racial hysteria and make the election a referendum on race, so that stupid people vote based on irrational emotions rather than policies. And usually by the time the Democrats have taken office all of the protests and riots magically stop, and the ‘race card’ goes back into the draw awaiting it’s next appearance in 4-8 years time.

The truth is there is very little racism in USA 2020 let alone systemic racism, and all the issues that BLM and their proxies whinge about, like blacks being targets of police, having fewer assets than white people etc, can be explained by organic reasons such as committing more crime, high illiteracy rates, low graduation rates, etc. Of course none of these things are ever mentioned by mainstream media, because to seek an honest intellectual inquiry into these things would provoke howls of racism and cancelled careers.

Yeah what's the saying? "they vote against their own interest"?

The problem with that is the facts do not support it.

As it stands those who vote for Trump benefited the most (until Covid hit more about that later) viz:

1.Of the seven best-growing states — North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Louisiana, Alaska, Hawaii and Maine — only the latter two voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Moreover, the seven slowest-growing states and districts by Yelp’s measure — Oregon, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware — all voted Democrat https://www.cnbc.com/2020/01/24/yelp-states-that-backed-trump-growing-faster-than-states-that-didnt.html

2.  500,000 manufacturing ie working class jobs created.

3.  Record unemployment unmatched for over 50 years with minorities such as hispanics, blacks, women workers, with female hispanics leading the way.  Over 6 million jobs

4.  According to the data-gathering website Worldometers, 33% of deaths in the U.S.—just under 61,000—come from three Democratic states: New York, New Jersey and California. All three are headed by Democratic governors, and the statehouses of all three are controlled entirely by Democratic politicians.

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/uncomfortable-data-biden-slams-trumps-covid-response-33-deaths-are

In fact the Covid death rates of these States taken alone, they rank in the top 5 IN THE WORLD

So if you voted Trump in 2016 why wouldn't you again?  Why would you care that Democrat States have lower growth, more crime, more Covid deaths and infections?  Its not as of they would, or have...

Remember that electoral college can vote however they choose, they can break from the vote of the people if they want.

This is why Trump is rushing the SCOTUS appointment, he is 100% going to challenge this all the way up the chain.

What about the Dems threats to pack the Supreme Court? Note that is isn’t just empty threats, they threatened to pack it prior to RBG kicking the bucket, to restore a liberal majority to the court.

It feels like all the hoopla about DT refusing to leave office and having to send in B2 bombers and a joint NATO strike force to get it done is a red herring to distract from fake impeachment scandals, large scale voter fraud, defunding police, condoning Antifa, Supreme Court packing and other attacks the Democrats have instigated on Democracy. Regardless of what you think about DT it seems me to  Democrats are 1000 worse and the continuous finger pointing at Trump is a convenient way to distract from their crimes.

Have you ever stopped to think that high crime and high illiteracy rates may just be a consequence of a poorer standard of education in inner city areas with dysfunctional, broke as fuck local governments who don't have the resources available to provide kids a decent standard education?

Have you ever stopped to think this may tie in with the history of segregation and a continuous cycle of poverty that most majority black communities have yet to break out of in the years following the civil rights movement?

Possibly, just possibly, could that be described as "systemic?"

So we'll just ignore Florida and Texas shall we?  With the 2nd and 3rd most deaths?  What's that?  They have republican governors?  https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

The 3 states you listed are culturally the most diverse, most travelled, and most likely to have been in contact with overseas visitors or people returning home.  Those states also have democrat leaders.  Correlation is not causation.

4% of the worlds population.  20% of the deaths.  That's the only stat that you need to know.

Probably 150 000 more than would have died had an adult been in charge.

But whatever.  Trump could literally admit he molested children and Trumpsters wouldn't care.

None of that explains the appalling levels of illiteracy and graduation among blacks. Even when you balance for income level, family history etc, the reality is blacks , as a collective group, are well behind other races in terms of academic and job performance. The reasons for this are complex, but laying the blame entirely on systemic racism is a cop out designed to assuage blacks from taking responsibility for their own economic development. It’s racially insensitive to tell an economically depressed class of people that they are accountable and responsible, but in order to solve a problem you must first diagnose it correctly. There are lots of groups throughout history who have faced real systemic racism and managed to prosper through hard work and determination. For whatever reasons, probably a mix of culture and government welfare, blacks do not share this work ethic, so they turn to crime and lean on government to get by.

At the end of the day it’s all about choices. You can either choose the path of education, get educated and forge a career. Or you can reject education and continue the cycle of economic struggle, while whinging about systemic racism and waiting for reparations day. Every black kid has the same opportunity to go to school, become literate and earn a high school diploma as any other kid, that they don’t is less to do with systemic racism and more to do with culture and the welfare polices that disincentive education and personal responsbility.

If you’re born black, poor or disadvantaged the best way to change that is to get an education, rather than moaning about systemic racism and waiting for reparations. There are obviously lots of black kids who are born into poverty and manage to dig themselves out, so it’s not like these pathways don’t exist or there are laws that deny black people social mobility.

Imagine if they empowered black children by telling them they can do whatever they want in life and be anything they want to be, rather telling them their POTUS hates them, that they live under an oppressive white supremacist regime and their best chance in life is to loot and vote Democrat.

What about the Dems threats to pack the Supreme Court? Note that is isn’t just empty threats, they threatened to pack it prior to RBG kicking the bucket, to restore a liberal majority to the court.

Well they can't do that till they win can they lol?

Trump is trying to do that now to contest an election.
