+x+x+x+xMacarthur have signed a French midfielder by the name of Loïc Puyo. He was on the books of Ligue 1 side Angers but most recently played in the third tier which is a bit concerning. Remember that Gersbach went to the french second tier and hardly set the world on fire, so the french divisions are of a very good quality. Really baffled why more Aussies don't go there. Arguably similar level to the English league system. Because there (they're*) not good enough. French football really underrated worldwide. LOL. I won't take the bait on that. But yes I agree, the French domestic leagues are supremely underrated.

CCM linked with Duncan Watmore who has been at Sunderland for the last 7 years.
No idea if he’s any good.

+xCCM linked with Duncan Watmore who has been at Sunderland for the last 7 years. No idea if he’s any good. unfortunately...it seems he's injury prone. https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2020/6/25/21298763/the-legacy-of-duncan-watmore-a-player-who-deserves-success"After his successful stint in 2015-2016, the following December he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury. When we got relegated the first time and hoped he would play a part in our revival as a hungry and ambitious player in the championship, he suffered another major injury and was ruled for the season yet again mustering only 11 appearances. Then further down in League One, it happened a third time in March 2018. The pattern was never ending, he’d play a few games, suffer a major injury and that would be it." perhaps fewer games a season might help him ?

Watmore was a really exciting prospect. It was quickly clear he may not play for England but would have a stellar career in the Championship.

Fewer games could help but interest has seemingly cooled since a month ago.

Nick Sullivan is apparently off to Perth.
Not sure why WSW aren’t keeping him tbh, I thought he had a bit about him.

Kristian Opseth has gone to India.
Disappointing to see another player who is way too good for India, leaving the AL to go there

Until we raise our cap floor we will continue to lose players to pay days. We can't always trot out the lifestyle factor to every signing

Aspro and Sullivan off to Perth. It seems the latter has only signed for the ACL.
Edit: other way round.

By my counting thats 14 contracted players, with that German bloke and a few more youngsters (Michael Ruhs) probably expected to sign over the next month.

He's gone. Five years and the Indian league will be unrecognisable, I reckon. Serious scale, serious money. They'll rival China in spending power.

Ray Gatt reporting that Bozanic has returned to CCM.
Edit: It has been announced to their members. He’ll add some much needed experience to what is a very young squad.
