So essentially its a twisted situation where you've two sides playing rugby against each other, one side is carrying knives, guns and knuckledusters, and the other has their bibles and bill of rights manuscripts.

So what is the guy in the bulletproof vest holding in the image above? The Bible?

He’s a Trump supporter, not an ideological conservative.

So why won't you condemn these Trump supporters then given they are not ideologically conservative like yourself?

Given your absence on these forums over the last few months I'm assuming you don't actually believe in the allegations of election fraud. Shouldn't you then view these thugs as an affront to the values of western conservatism and democracy?

Ideologically conservative

America has far bigger problems than a few rambunctious Trump supporters. Think mass media and their kid glove treatment of violent anarchists running riot. Think tech companies and their election interference. Think Democrats and their threats to pack the courts. Think universities and their suffocation of free speech. Think cancel culture. Think defunding law enforcement.

All of the above are objectively more insidious, potent and destructive issues than "storming the capitol" and sitting in Nancy Pelosi's chair.  But the left refuses to even acknowledge them as issue, let alone address them. That is because they can exploit them for political power.

Thank you for acknowledging that "all reasonable conservative voices" have condemned what's happened, rather than playing it down and making excuses. If only "reasonable progressive voices" did the same in respect to Antifa and leftist anarchists murdering, bashing, harassing and spitting at Trump supporters, destroying thousands of businesses and setting cities alight, rather than playing it down and making excuses. Many ideological conservatives feel compelled by their conscience and beliefs around god and traditional values to call out bad behaviour when they see it, regardless of who's doing it. They long for a return to the pre Obama era, where things like free speech, respect for public property, law and order and free fair elections were accepted by all and taken for granted. Perhaps they feel that by turning their backs on Trump and joining the left in shaming Trump supporters, that the left, now with unfettered power, will soften their hearts and reciprocate the gesture, in a vain attempt to return to the old America. What they don't realise is that the left feels no compunction about betraying those old school values and in fact never really placed any stock in them in the first place, they were just a means to an end. So essentially its a twisted situation where you've two sides playing rugby against each other, one side is carrying knives, guns and knuckledusters, and the other has their bibles and bill of rights manuscripts.

The elections were 'free and fair'.

No they werent. Big tech colluded with big media and Democrats to prevent Trump supporters from sharing information that was potentially damaging to Biden. Maybe it wouldnt have made any difference, maybe it would have. We will never know. But what we do know is that big tech colluded with big media and Democrats to prevent Trump supporters from sharing information that was potentially damaging to Biden, rendering the election neither free nor fair.

Probably need to add half the GOP as part of that collusion as well since Georgia is GOP run. I guess almost everyone in the US Government or with any influence/power is the deep state.

Five of the six states that had their votes objected to last night were Republican states, add a few more to the Pizzagate deep state roll call.

I wake up this morning and finally, Biden and Harris finally acknowledge the double standards in relation to how left and right wing protestors are treated. The only problem is the double standard they’re acknowledging is apparently how law enforcement went soft on them while saving tear gas for BLM protestors. All those poor conservatives who thought that by bashing Trump and condemning the violence would lead to a moment of unity with Democrats, they have played into the double standard that violent left wing protestors are really oppressed freedom fighters fighting for just causes, while violent right wing protestors are rabid insurrectionists. Democrats and the left do not want unity. They dont even want democracy. If they could push a button that would blow up every single registered Republican they would push it. It will be interesting to see where the Republican movement goes from here, if they continue to grovel to the Democrats in the hope we can time travel back to pre Obama or if they jettison their bibles and bill of rights manuscripts and learn to fight.

Its true. Big tech colluded with big media and the Democrats to hide information pertaining to Biden that could have swayed the election. Media failed to report worthy news and big tech prevented that worthy news from being shared. The way they colluded and interfered in the election was grotesque and unprecdented. It was far more egregious than anything the Russians did in 2016, which many Democrats alleged rendered Trump an “illigitimate president”. If the target of these undemocratic, autocratic tactics was a Democrat, of course you would express outrage and disgust. But its a bit like a game of football, if your team cheated, say by bribing the referee to ensure that your team got the win, you would find a way to justify or deny cheating ever occurred. Its just how the brain works.

As a disclaimer I believe the elections were neither free nor fair, but I also believe that mass electoral fraud didnt occur.
