Those players left as youth players right after their 16th birthdays. If you're not going to go to Europe as a 16 year old (ideally much younger) and get into their development system, you shouldn't go until you've got two seasons of first team football under your belt. Our players leave when they're too old to be youth players and too inexperienced to play first team football in Europe. They're in no mans land.

i'd suggest a knee reco was more to blame. he ŵas going around Frechies as if they ŵeren't there.  players that won the Word Cup....

the reason he might have believed he was the exception is because he was the exception, ar the time.

if he were a cb or dm a knee reco is likely less impact on your game. if you are a close ball at speed player that depends on low centre of gravity and agility then its a different story

On Simon Jill's podcast, Spider reported that Arzani's attitude is now a known thing in Europe. 

The indication is that his attitude is poor and doesn't show the right kind of work ethic and unlikely to continue in Europe.

The coaches network in Europe is now a hurdle for him. Being supportive is not like someone taking them under their wing with proper advice.
He needs a straight shooter who can knock the chip that appears to be on his shoulder.

To be fair for context, it’s more understandable that the national team coaches would be supportive of him compare to Spider is an outsider with a different view.

It doesn’t make Spider right or now and vice versa with the national team coaches.

It just also shows how first impressions with coaches really go a long way towards a player doing well too.

If only Musky didn’t get sacked at his club in Belgium or maybe he could join Popa’s side in Greece, I think he might need someone who can get the best out of Daniel.

Daniel at least has a serious injury work in his favour regarding giving some grey area benefit of the doubt... As well as possibly a lack of a natural tank.

Do vaguely remember a young Archie Thompson either intentionally or unintentionally getting a hard work lesson for a stint at wingback playing for CSC in the NSL. Was so much more consistent thereafter.

I thought it was Craig Moore that said that .... he did some digging. Spider just came to the conclusion that his move has been a failure without really looking at any of the context with the two situations. I do like that podcast, but it shits me when they make these assertions without really investigating the situation completely. Neither of them mentioned that there was a change of manager at Utrecht.

Put him on a pedestal and abuse anyone (including professional top flite managers...) that doesn't think the sun shines out of his ass - this is basically the collective approach to Daniel Arzani by the Australian football public since he came on the scene for some reason. It's both unhelpful and irrational.

His career is stagnating because he wasn't properly established both physically and mentally as a senior professional footballer and went abroad way too early. Brendan Rodgers made that clear when he arrived at Celtic that he had a lot of work to do and those comments are being echoed 2 and a half years later by a different manager so there is clearly a common denominator. His injury just so happened to take place along the way and is a convenient excuse.

If his attitude wasnt a problem, doesn't anyone think he would've come back hungrier and more determined than before?...

It was Craig Moore who brought up that Arzani was becoming known for having a shit attitude (which he probably learnt through the Celtic coaches). Spider just said if that was the case that he was gaining a reputation, then its going to make his future life in Europe even harder.
