Unless he’s being promised first team football or at the very least a proper look-in by the manager, I’m failing to see any benefit to this move whatsoever.

+xUnless he’s being promised first team football or at the very least a proper look-in by the manager, I’m failing to see any benefit to this move whatsoever. True but its the lowest tier of the respectable leagues in Europe, so if he cant cut it there, then chances are he will never make it in Europe. After this, not many Euro clubs in a mid tier leagues will take a punt on a guy who they will see that could not cut it in Scotland, Netherlands or Denmark. Only other option would be League 1 after that point.

AGF have been consistently scouting the A-League for several years. That’s how they know so much about Baccus, Duncan, Gersbach etc.
Their Chairman literally travels to Australia and attends A-League games.
If ANY club in Europe (except maybe Xanthi and Oldham) are going to rate Arzani highly enough to give him a fair chance, AGF is it.
If Arzani can’t make the grade at AGF then we truly know that the issue lies with him.

Forget it. Come back to Aus, ALeague side would no doubt throw him straight in...he desperately needs senior games.

Serious question, has the bloke ever played a 90 minute game as a professional?

One advantage of this potential move over coming back to the A-League is that I imagine there aren’t any travel restrictions between Holland and Denmark, given most of Europe is a Covid infested cesspit at the moment. By contrast, just securing a commercial seat or charter back to Australia would be challenging and not guaranteed, and he’d have to quarantine. I hope a move comes off and he gets some time on the paddock!

Not like they couldnt afford it

Daniel's lack of 90 minute football is part of my reasoning for thinking knuckling down at Kewell's L2 club or lower would be a smart move.

+xSerious question, has the bloke ever played a 90 minute game as a professional? According to 'Transfermarkt', he has played 5 ' 90 minute games',- all in the '17/18' A-League season.

What is this kids manager doing? 2 and half years ago he was in a world cup squad despite not doing much before or after (ok acl was bad luck) and now he is an asset CFG paid peanuts for loaning him out to farm leagues hoping he appreciates in value....

But point still remains that he looks to have made some pretty suss career choices.

Genuine question.

I tried to say that as nicely as I could.
