If I ever coach a team again I'll be telling my players to tell the ref they don't want 10 and to smash is as soon as is practicable.  (Particularly because the GK is usually standing on a post trying to organise his wall.)

On that.  Taking the throw well behind the line to get it in quickly.  There's no limit as to how far back you can throw it from so take advantage.  Loads of times if you're 4 or 5m behind the line and you can see the opportunity throw it in from where you are.  2 things can then happen.  One, they're not ready for that and two, you get a quick breakaway.
