Quality game from Western United despite some intense pressure at times and a bit of luck keeping Macarthur out as long as they did.

The amazing thing for me was that Western got far enough ahead that they did not resort to anti-football slowing the game down - and at the same time with Macarthur going a goal down first they could not use their usual anti-football slowing tactics.

The only people to go down were actually injured or genuinely cramping up and they got on with it.

Both teams lost half their pre-game strategies.

Western somwhere go alright, they can whip teams that belong, with homegrounds as well, quite easily it seems.
