McGree will probably go the MLS after this, I dont see Birmingham wanting to buy him out disappointingly.

+xO'Neill dragged in the 40th minute. Didn't look much worse than anyone else. Just watched it, as I was watching another Thai game when this was on last night. From what I saw, he was doing a lot of the leg work, but things just didn't appear to be clicking. I agree with you when you say he didn't look much worse than anyone else. Key moments that I got from his game was that he was on the wrong side of Caion, who scored the opening goal in the 6th minute. He was rushing back to help, but he wasn't tight/close to the striker, but it was a nice finish at the same time. He also made a fantastic last ditch tackle [timestamp 10:47] that saved a goal imo. The other stats that I got for O'Neill whilst watching it: Touches - 24 Lost possession - 7 Moved sideways/backward - 8 Won possession - 6 Fouls - 2 He's always going to get a lot less leeway for mistakes/sloppiness when you compare him to the Thai players, and that just comes down to the differences in salary, etc. I think last night was a sign that Gama has lost patience with him, and A-League clubs should be reaching out to his agent to see if they can get him back to Australia. I don't think he'll last much longer at Buriram at all, which is a shame, because we need Australian players doing well in Thailand and Malaysia, so that there's more opportunities for others to go there. It'd be much better for us if players were signing in Thailand instead of India, because at least they'll be playing at a good standard, and if they come back to the A-League: they'll be a better player because of it.

What position is he playing? I wouldn't have thought it was his responsibility to track the run of a Striker?

There was a cheap turnover out wide, so it was all hands on deck to get everyone back and stop any shots being taken. Ball got whipped in low, striker hit it first time and scored. I watched the game via a VPN, so the YouTube link wouldn't work here I don't think.

Sains starting against Anderlecht Borrello bench
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

If the kid didnt do his ACL it would probably be one of the biggest catch 22s ever in Australian football in recent times. Such a shame he’s career has gone down this part, quite sad to see actually because the kid brought a lot of joy at the World Cup and before it at Melb City too.

Arzani is yet to have a coach properly invest in him. Add the injury and it's a perfect storm for his head to crumble. He might have his own issues as well. He had a lot to live up too and seemed grounded. The massive expectations and disappointments mean he's hopefully already going into heavy sports psychology.
He's commented positively on his time in Denmark and it's a matter of building up to get into the team. Unfortunately, his next deal will be a new environment once again.

Isn't McGree already signed and sealed for Carolina? How does a loan to a club like Birmingham come about? Same owners?
I'm sure he'll hit the ground running in America.

Mine said he was but then it changed. Sains scored. Keeper fumbled, basically knocked it into Sains and it rolled in. New manager has given him the captain's armband.

+xVukovic appears to sitting on the pine more than playing recently His contract expires at the end of the season. My prediction is he’ll end up at Sydney FC as a replacement for Redmayne who’s said he wants to give overseas a crack this year.
