+xAlex Robertson came off the bench for Man City u23s against Chelsea in a 2 all draw. He's got a few guys under 23 at his club that are ahead of him in the midfield pecking order for club & England - McAtee, Doyle & obviously Foden. He's obviously a very good player, but should be setting his sights on playing for the Socceroos not England Best of both worlds from an Aussie NT perspective.

73 minutes for Kalik in a 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, at least they did better than Tottenham!

A hattrick of assists from Mabil in a 5-0 win against Vejle Boldklub, full game.
2-1 loss for Thomas at Nordsjaelland.
Full game for Karacic in a 1-0 loss at Salernitana.
Armenakas unused sub in a 4-1 loss to Anderlecht.

+xNot for JEF United, his J2 club contract expired last season. Also Deng is in Japan, pictured again in training on Thursday. Either has some sort of injury or the new Spanish manager doesn't rate him. Their defense has been horrible so surely he gets a look in soon if not injured. State of emergency should come to an end today so hopefully Taggart can get in as there was talk the government would put the exemptions for athletes to enter back in place once it ended. cheers bud

He has a groin injury he’s still recovering from. Geria has signed for Glory.

Mileusnic assist against FC Copenhagen. 77 minutes in a 2-1 win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9goZHtSba7M
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

JRB unused sub and Watts not in squad for Palace v Sunderland U23s, fortunately we can hope that this is due to them both being involved with the first team in this case.

OK so I confused the two teams in red and white vertical stripes that start with the letter S again. Watts plays for Southampton, not Sunderland, and he had a full game in a 1-2 loss to Liverpool U23 two days ago.

We missed an important game - McGree started & scored a goal for the Birmingham u23s in a 2-1 win against Cardiff. The new manager had quite a few first team players in the lineup. Hopefully he liked what he saw & give him a run in the first team. Comments from fans on FB - McGree is class, should be playing first team etc etc

Disgrace he’s dumped in the u23s. Obviously needs more ‘hoof it’ in his play.

Just watched the second goal - he set that one up as well from the corner. Full game & the commentators saying he's done his chances of playing first team football no harm with his performance. From what I saw of the game, he was getting a lot of ball & it looks like they are going away from the "hoofball" tactics that the previous manager demanded, which will play into Riley's hands. Still looks really good with the ball at his feet & some great passing & through balls. Should come into Socceroo contention if he can just get some decent mins before 30/06

+xLeno is shocking. Ryan in. I don't think he has a chance at Arsenal. Arteta obviously loves Leno and will play him through thick and thin. Even Martinez, who is a better keeper than both Leno and Ryan, couldn't get a look in. It is sad that Ryan isn't even getting a chance in the Europa league. It shows that Arteta doesn't really rate him at all.

Korean squad in Japan for a friendly, Japanese squad has Euro-based players. Taggart still not able to go in? Peculiar.

Fucking shits me to tears!!! surely we could arrange a friendly just full of European based socceroos? Or is it more so that staff will need to quarantine when returning back to Aus? USA are playing Jamaica in Austria.....

Yea USA playing Jamaica and Northern Ireland in Europe. Probably helps that their entire first choice squad is Euro based nowadays and Germany loosened some quarantine restrictions for their Bundesliga guys.
