Conceding a goal off a corner that shouldn't have been given where our unchallenged defender heads the ball to five of our defenders who all miss it and it falls right onto the forehead of an opposition attacker. Newcastle Jerks ladies and gents
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Is Mark Bosnich aware there are two teams on the pitch? Only ever talks about MV, horrible commentary

Bullshit. He's been coaching them from the commentary box and has kept his mouth shut whenever NJ have the ball. Commentary this season has been very poor. Andy Harper is insufferable whenever Central Coast play.

Diabolical second half. Matt Millar is a fraud of a footballer this season.

I thought Melb Victory were the worst team this season for most it and probably still are, but after today the Jets have taken the mantle if not tied with them today.
Honestly teams in NSW NPL2 would beat this Jets team right, what ever happened to their structure and style of play they had early in this season has been thrown out because they look like a complete rabble that cant even do the basis anymore, the goal they conceded came from a couple of passages of play where they just gave the ball away under no pressure at all and no body tracked back such basic stuff.
Credit to Victory though at least they working for each other and the kids seem to be the ones making the difference, they got to give Iannucci a chance too he was very good against Preston in the NPL last night and would give them a creative outlook which they are missing.

Brebner finally gave Brooks a go and look what happened. Imagine he actually gives Iannucci a shot as well!

We need some one like Simon Hill to call the game without histronics.

The problem with Newcastle was highlighted when Topor-Stanley gave the ball away. You watch the second wave of Newcastle players jogging back, with Prso leading the jog, and not one of them showed any urgency or commitment to getting back and making it tough for Victory. If Prso and the others had run back hard it is likely there wouldn't have been anyone to pass to in the box and Victory probably wouldn't have scored. Playing out the minutes and not working for the shirt. Did not deserve a win after that. A win for Victory, and a challenge for the wooden spoon. This is where the lack of relegation doesn't mean they don't care - neither team wants the spoon.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

Newcastle replacing every player in the first eleven would be a good start next season. Something needs to change their or they're going to be this bad forever.

Simple. We have no route to goal without Yuel, so taking him off was pretty bewildering. I think Najjarine and Prso could have bright futures, but they need to work harder. Feel sorry for Thurgate who was busting a gut in the midfield. Tbh, even a half-assed Ugarkovic is still way better than our other options.
Um, positives? Well, we have Donachie and Champness out on loan. Maybe we'll get them back next season?
Not gonna complain about the corner that wasn't a corner... But I do think the disallowed goal killed us. I can admit it was a fingernail offside, but the decision just took way too long. Any momentum to hit back right away disappeared. Vuck may well have crumbled.
Well done to young Brooks, he really took the game on and his senior colleagues owe him a few.

Here's how we should line up next season (if I'm feeling kind): Duncan ?? — Donachie - ?? —?? —?? ?? — Thurgate - ?? Yuel - ?? — Champness Bench: Koutroumbis, Stamatelopolous, Topor, Mauragis, Prso (maybe) Assuming there's no way we keep Najjarine.

In fairness to the Jets they probably overperformed at the start of the season and was always likely to fade as the season wore on. Have a relatively competitive first 11 but didn’t have much depth outside of it.
Not having a stable owner and a turbulent off season, spending the minimum cap and their financial issues clearly didn’t help but at least they show some heart.

So I'm guessing there's some issues to get them registered There are two ways to handle that, the right way and battle with the red tape or the way that works, scratch, pull hair poke out eyes and mame your way to get it done. See, easy.
