Thomas, Degenek starting, Borrello bench
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

McGree came off the bench & apparently played well again. Forrest scored a late equaliser, but Birmingham should be safe with only 3 games left. Wonder if they'll try to keep him on next season?

Id love them too, but i am not sure if his new MLS team Charlotte FC would be willing to sell an inaugural player that has not even kicked a ball for the new team which is also yet to play a game

It’s good to see a lot of Birmingham fans are calling for him to be made permanent on their fan forums. Hopefully he gets a deal and stays in England, it sounds like he has done enough in recent games to earn it

Aarhus v Randers: Gersbach gets a start in the league; Mileusnic on the bench. Gersbach off injured after 30 minutes, he was putting in a good shift too. Bloke can't catch a break.

Decent at Confed and has wasted 4 years. All hindsight but 4 years of potential A League playing time would've been much better.

Haven't really seen much of Xanthi, but Izzo has only conceded 10 goals in 22 games. Brillante also starts regularly as well. Ryan on the bench

Full 90 mins for Alex Robertson, playing at 10, for the Man City u23s. The last few games he's started, with the majority of his 12 games this season coming off the bench. So his return of 2 goals and 3 assists, for a just turned 18 yr old, is pretty impressive considering he's playing for the reserves of one of the best clubs in the world. I'd dare say that the Man City u23s would beat most, if not all, of the A League teams based on them winning the PL2 comp - so it's a good form line. I'd love for Arnie to take a punt on the kid for the Olyroos

I'd love for Arnie to take a punt on the kid for the Olyroos I would have no doubt that Manchester City U23 would easily beat the Melbourne City first team. If any of the young players from the latter team were good enough you'd think CFG would simply move them to the former. Great to see more progress from Robertson. He must be in the Socceroos squad in Kuwait and capped at the first opportunity, and given a ticket to Tokyo to sweeten the deal. I see he's got number 93 on his transfermarkt profile now. This would imply that he has been allotted a first team squad number. City could potentially win this season's EPL with a win against Chelsea in two weeks, leaving three EPL dead rubbers against Newcastle, Brighton and Everton...

Don't really get the u23 hype.. tyrese francois was out for months with injury, first game back a goal and assist in a 4-1 win started and played 90 overnight.. actually has a chance at making the Fulham first team next year. If you don't break into the man city first team by 18/19 I don't think you ever will.

+xIf you don't break into the man city first team by 18/19 I don't think you ever will. He only turned 18 a week ago, so I definitely think he should stick with Man City for now, especially if he gets to spend time with the first team this season.

You only break into the Man City first team from the u23s at 18/19 if you're Phil Foden standard & they don't come along too often. Like Pala said, he has literally only just turned 18, so played pretty much the whole season in u23s Man City team at the age of 17, which is exceptional. Surely the best young CAM prospect we have at the moment. Should definitely stay at City for the next year or two, then if he hasn't started cracking first team squads or cup games, then look at his options

At some point all of these English U23 players need to get to first team football. If it's in League One so be it. It's more likely the club they do well at will get promoted than some Championship club buying them. Sadly the Championship even has way too much cash flowing around these days.

Yep just read an article he did with bein that said he’s been signed for next season. That settles that then. From the article he says he will be playing first team football so if he can get to be regular 2. bundesliga player that’s amazing for the roo’s. He’s only 21

Certainly this summer will be big for Iredale to get his fitness up. Unfortunate the Paderborn manager is leaving as he's a real believer in the player as a person. The technical director is involved and hopefully the new manager sees his quality.

McGree starting as is Souttar.
In League One, Ryan Williams started while Edwards, Wright, Burgess and Elder are starting. Maynard-Brewer bench. No Dougall or Lyden.
In League Two, Jack Iredale and Beadling are starting. No Blackwood.

Borrello subbed off in the 57th minute when it was 0-0. Fortuna scored but then blew it to lose 2-1. Keen to see how Behich goes against Besiktas later on. Hope they don't get flogged.
