Deni Juric as first choice U23 Olyroo striker for sure.

The A-League Olyroo strikers have dropped off a little lately after starting the season really well.

All these lads will be playing in the Toulon tournament as no local (Aus based) players can travel
let’s see how they go before picking the final 18

Looks like Francois played a full game for Fulham U23 in a 1-1 draw with Leeds.
Jay Rich-Baghuelou played a full game for Crystal Palace U23 in a 2-0 loss to Newcastle.

Brad Smith in MLS team of the week. We're looking pretty strong at left back at the moment. Elder will be playing in the Championship next season & Behich starts every game.

That’s been the question for a while now.
Alternatively, there have actually been some right backs who have played quite well and consistently this season; albeit at varying levels.
Fran Karacic has been playing regularly in Serie B and has had some impressive games.
Gabriel Cleur has also been getting fairly regular minutes in Serie B and seems to have become more consistent.
Gethin Jones, although playing in League Two, has been a standout player for Bolton this season and has helped his team into an automatic promotion spot with only a few rounds to go.

There are also some A-League right backs who may come into calculations over the next season or two.
Pierias has been excellent as a RWB this season (though has excelled further up the field).
Ryan Strain has been a standout for Adelaide.
Atkinson did really well until his injury.
Aquilina has also been a very handy player playing as a LWB and RWB.

Some options are more long term, but I feel like we are not as desperate to convert LBs into RBs right now.

Donachie played the full 90 in a 1-1 draw.

His side have drawn 3 games and lost 2 and have no chance of going through so he’d surely return to the Jets after the next game.

Yep, we have more than enough young right backs coming through. Strain, Atkinson, Russell and Pierias are all good enough to play for the Olyroos but unfortunately we can only fit two of them into the Olympic squad which is capped at just 18 players.

Wouldn't mind seeing Leckie converted to right back for a bit. It'd take pressure off wing selection.

For sure. Leckie has the engine for it no doubt. Wingers are a plenty atm. Mabil, Mcgree, Boyle, Hrustic etc etc

Cleur just played 76 minutes in Serie B and got an assist to put his team up 1-0. After he got subbed, his team conceded a goal in the 91st minute.
He got a FotMob rating of 7.8.
Sadly, his team are last and just drew with second last. They look pretty much certain to get relegated.

They certainly need a miracle. Can't see him signing for anyone else in Serie B.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Why do you say that? He is still quite young and this year was a pretty big step up for him  which might demonstrate potential to another Serie B team? (I’ll admit I know nothing about Italian football)
Yes he played pretty shit for Olyroos but so did Daniel Bouman and Josh Laws and they’ve both been impressive in the A league this year while Dylan Ryan has been the complete opposite

Peter Gwargis released by Brighton. Completely expected, at one stage it was rumoured he was going to sign for a Swedish club but never materialised.

Of the other players released i saw someone on the Brighton forums theorise Stefan Vukoje being released because Peupion will take his place next season. Since he is top age u18 it is partially expected but still a good sign.

That Leeds u/23 side is excellent too.

Runaway winners of the PL2 Div 2, with quite a few long term prospects in there. Gelhardt, Greenwood, Drameh are potential England internationals.

Shackleton was in midfield too that has plenty of Championship/PL experience.

Degenek’s Red Star have won the Serbian SuperLiga.

They currently have 32 wins, 2 draws, 0 losses.

Only 4 more games of the season to go to avoid defeat and become invincibles.

Have been impressed with Elder for a long time now. Remember stumbling across his flag while on loan at Mansfield and while he started a bit slower the last two years have seen massive maturity. He's ready to be capped. Funny as he generally held his own in the Championship hence his incredibly strong League One performance.
