It's actually a valid point.  Despite the so called independence the FFA are still getting a cut.  As a investor why would I want to give those clowns a cent. This is why the 'independent' A League exists because the FFA want a piece of everything because that's how franchises work.  I'd rather invest overseas where I keep more of my investment.
