But this time it’s a completely unnecessary and self-inflicted one.

Dylan Ryan's Loan contract runs out today, he is a Willem II player again, still has another year left on his contract.

Antonis Martis' Loan also concludes today, he presumably heads back to Denmark, he still has two years left there at Midtjylland.

Anton Mlinaric's loan at Dinamo Zagreb has concluded, he should be heading back to Oz to join Sydney FC again, unless he impressed in Croatia.

Samuel Silvera's loan from the third tier of Portuguese football is over, he will join his top flight team again.

Luka Prso is back in Europe, Holiday-ing after the Olyroos camp. He will rejoin NK Osijek where he still has two years left on his contract.

Interesting times for these four. Would have loved to see silvera back under Staj at the Mariners to see how good he could get but it’s not to be. Another one lost to the European wilderness.

Have a lot of hope for Prso and Martis. Thought they were both really promising on loan in the A-League. Both are still very young and I have hope they either get loaned out in Europe or break into their clubs' first teams

Newcastle are announcing another signing tomorrow, The letter of the day is J, and someone with big game experience.

It’ll probably be Elsey or Jakobsen.

Yeah good news. Still can't understand why he's not in the Olympic squad as he's the best performing striker we have!!! Surely Croatian first division is on par if not better than the a league?!!

This may work out better than his expected move to Osijek as he is loaned back to Sibenek where he will play every game.
